"yes. i believe he and his sister have gone from me..." she said now turning to him. "just me and spiderkit now..." she said tears welling in her tired eyes. "what i wouldnt give every day, just to see him one more time..." her voice broke off.

Sparrowwing, uesed to being the one with the resposibily, pawed at Thunderclaws face playfuly. "We wont have to worry." she said in a posititve tone.

he licked her nose playfully. "nope" he smiled. he put his head next to her ear and whispered, "im not sure your brother is very happy about the kits..." he said worriedly

Shadowclaw stood up padding over to Nighttail but staying slightly away not wanting to get her muddy. "I am very sorry about their leaving I also miss him. He was my first apprentice in the clan." He said sadly remembering his time training Mudsplash.

Froststorm smiled quickly returning Lillypool's lick. "Would you like to return and check on the clan when the rain stops?" He asked afraid that the clan may be concerning her.

Sparrowwing giggled at Thunderclaws comment. "What would posess you to think something like that?" she asked with a smile.

"sparkledrop was my first also" she smiled rememdering her detirmination and drive. "but we must always remember..." she said remembering something sparkledrop had said, "for every ending, a new dawn is born. we must stay golden and walk in the dawn. dont let your spirits fade to day."" she smiled peacefuly.

"swetheart remember when rose died?? see this scar??" h motioned to the scar on his head. "our brother did that." he chuckled. "im not so sure he considers me a friend of his." he smiled.

Sparrowwing rolled over onto her round belly. She turned to face Thunderclaw right in the eyes. "He dosnt like you to much but he loves me. We've been looking after each other since we were kits. He's happy for us. Almost as happy for us as he is for him and Fernleaf."

"yeah but it doesnt seem right to me somehow..." he said quietly. im gonna try and make things right with him but if i cant then im not sure what to do..." he smiled

"Just be careful." Sparrowwing warned. She knew from experience what happened when somebody challanged her brother or made him feal insacure about his loved ones.

Shadowclaw smiled listening to Nighttail's words. "Sparkledrop always was smart though she rarely talked." He commented thinking about the few times he had heard her speak. "I am going to watch the entrance please tell me if you need anything." He said as he padded away shivering slightly his fur still wet and muddy.
