I'm sure Threeleg and Fernstar would understand." The tortie glances at her apprentice. "Yes, that's correct. Broken rosemary blossoms are used for wounds around or near the eyes because they won't cause blindness or anything dangerous like that if they fall in." She checks over Pinepaw's poltice again, assuring herself that it was fine. "Pinepaw, you have to stay in the medicine den for now. No training or hunting until your side has healed up."

Soaringbird sat outside the nursery, watching her clanmates as they grieved for the former deputy. Eelmuzzle padded over to the pure white she-cat, grunting slightly as he settled next to her. The elder nudged the young she-cat with his silver tinged muzzle. "You should go back to sleep. I'll watch your kits." The black elder mewed.

The white queen looked at the tom then nodded, getting to her paws and ducking back into the nursery. She always reacted oddly when she saw one of her clanmates dead, it reminded her of when her brother had been killed.


Rustpaw padded up to Vixenpaw, his ears flattening against his head. The orange tabby pressed against Vixenpaw's side. "Are you okay?" He whispered.

"You must go straight to Threeleg as soon as you get to camp, no excuses, alright?," Eveningleaf orders to Berrypaw. She was still a bit concerned to have an injured apprentice travel all the way to Cloverclan. "On second thought, get one of our warriors to escort you. Just ask one." She turns to her apprentice. "Half moon is tonight.. I'm just concerned about leaving Pinepaw here alone. I think she'll be fine, but if anything happens, send a warrior to get me, alright Pinepaw?"
