SageLeaf nodded slowly. "Oh ya I remember!" She said with a grin. "Well, kitty pet or not, you should know how to swim, fish, hunt, and fight." She purred. "And I am willing to help you with that!" She meowed with a warm smile. She stopped at the river, flicking her ears to listen to the water. "Do you know how to swim?" She asked.

"Now, when you start swimming, kick your paws and use your tail to help a bit." SageLeaf meowed. She went a bit deeper, where she could still touch the bottom, but lifted her paws off the ground, kicking to stay a float.

He swallow hard, stepping shaking into the water, ears pressed back against his head. He tried doing what she did but panicked and scrambled to the bank. "I-I don't think I can d-do that..."
