"I hope I wasn't hard on him..." Appleleaf whispered as Mintsplash and Robinchaser walked towards the tom. Appleleaf just sat there looking sad at the ground.

[E c h o]

"Are you sure? You seem pretty depressed..." Mintsplash says quietly. "Is there anything I can do to help you feel any better?"

"No im fine just the fire was very scaring to me losing almost everything, but im fine " he mewed and gave a bit of a lie as his answer. He stood up "i think im going to go and hunt bring back something good for the clan "he said and ran off into woods to hunt. He ran right past appleleaf wuthout notice even

Mintsplash sighs and turns to Robinchaser. "Well, we tried...I hope he's ok." she murmurs.

[laces]

Robinchaser nods. He felt a pang of jealousy, a thorn in his side. 'No! Not after Flowerpaw... I can't mess anyone else's lives up...' He wondered out loud, "I just think he has a broken heart. I know-" he stopped himself before he gave anything away about his life before the fire.

[E c h o]

Mintsplash pricks her ears. "You what?" she asks, gazing into Robinchaser's eyes. She smiles slightly, noticing the detail in his eyes for the first time.

[laces]

Robinchaser stared back into her eyes, contemplating whether or not to tell her. "Ijust... Have seen broken hearts before. And he looks like he's got one." He knew full well that he'd never seen anyone with a broken heart. Robeinchaser only knew because of his own mistakes.

[E c h o]

"Oh..ok. Hey, do you want to go for a walk? Maybe it'll liven up our spirits a bit." Mintsplash suggests, slowly climbing onto her paws.

[Sable.]

"If only." Appleleaf sighed watching the two cats walk off together. "Sometimes it's lonely being me." She murmered to herself, thinking of the pair bound to fall in love, of Hollyclaw and her kits. And maybe a little Raccoonstrike. "I must talk to Redfern." She decided following his scent through the grass to find him sitting by a small bush.
