But then it stopped and I was in the darkness
So darkness I became

Moonshade blinked, eyes widening and took a few steps back. She stared at him, kind of irritated, but relieved. "I..I thought you were unconscious, you stupid furball!" she stated in slight amusement. "I'm no medicine cat." She smiled and licked his ear. "Here, hold on," the dark she-cat mewed quietly and she trotted back to get the mouse she'd just caught. "All better." She laid it at his paws, raising one eyebrow. She sat down and blinked. "What exactly did you do?"

Again Moonshade did something he did not expect. First, she insults him, was Spiderfrosts' personality rubbing off of her or something? Then she goes and licks his ear....Is she trying to bother him? Secretgrudge looked away from her awkwardly as she left to retrieve something, when she came back she dropped a mouse at his paws. When she offered to give it to him he walked away from it. A warrior like him wasn't going to carry a mouse he didn't catch himself, it was just plain rude.

"I'm not taking someone else's kill." he said coldly and went to hunt down the mouse that got away from him. However he stopped in his tracks when Moonshade asked exactly what happened to him. There was an awkward silence.

"I-uh...wasn't looking where I was going..." he muttered.

Moonshade rolled her eyes. She figured he wouldn't take it but it was worth a shot. But she waited patiently through the silence, staring at him intensely as she sat in front of Secretgrudge. She snorted. "Alright, then.." she stood, looking around, a bored, sad expression on her face for only a moment. She sighed. "Well, I best be off to find some more. I'm sure you'd like to return to hunting if you insist you're alright." She picked up her mouse once more, and turned away. The dark tabby started to pad away silently, back to bury her prey and find more.

Secretgrudge didn't know why, maybe the lump on his head did more damage than he thought. But before Moonshade could go he blurted out:

"Do you uh...want to go hunting with me?"

~I just remembered...doesn't Moonshade have a crush on Fireface?

Moonshade blinked and paused the moment she was about to leap over a log. "Ah.." she turned to him and stared at Secregrudge. Why did this feel strange? She was deputy! She shouldn't be this shy. But something was bugging her. Then she remembered. Fireface. The first and only tom she'd been desperate to make him notice her. But did he even care? Did he care for her secretly the way she had always done for him? She was starting to think he didn't and the thought seriously hurt. Was he that clueless? Was it that hard for him to see her? She looked at the ground as she became lost in thought. Maybe he liked another she-cat... It was very possible. But that hurt even more. She blinked and tried to put that in the past. If he chose that, then fine. That was his loss. Maybe she'd grow old and alone, but still a good warrior to Wishclan. But did she want to be lonely? NO one really wants that... Do they? She swallowed. Secretgrudge always looked like he seemed to want to be alone... Did he? Did he really want that? Did he- She stopped at once.
"Sure," she answered quietly, and gave a small smile.

"Come on then, I smell something over there." the warrior pointed with his tail in one direction. He waited for her to catch up with him before moving on any further, his thoughts a complete mystery.

"Ok." Moonshade answered quietly and followed Secretgrudge alongside him. She lifted her muzzle and tried to pick up what he smelled. She licked her lips and lowered herself a little instinctively, her graceful body moving silently through the forest as she searched out the prey with her clanmate.
