Piper stood on a rock near the edge of the long, almost never endless lake. She sniffed the air as the cold tickled her fur. Even though she loved the water and ice, she did get tired of it sometimes, but she never bothered to travel to another island to see the outside of her packs' territory.

She could be found in the heart of her territory, Laying under a huge oak. She was calm and at peace as she felt the breeze ruffle her fur and she couldn't help but look up as if someone was there. But She knew better then that. She laid her head back on her paws and closed her eyes keeping her ears open for any weird noises. Morning like these where rather joyful and she let her guard drop ever so slightly.

Halia lay sprawled out in her den, not quite wanting to get up. Rolling over to her side, she got to her paws and left her den. She blinked and yawned as she walked out into the sunlight and shook out her jet black fur. After a moment she trotted out into the forest on full alert.
