"It's.. good." Nightwhisper said after a pause. "It's just strange for me, living with so many other cats.." He trailed off.

"I guess," She agreed, noffing her head slightly, "But they'll warm up to you, and you'll wonder how you menaged with out them. That's the effect a clan has on you." She said, smiling, remembering the first time she joined a clan. "Where did you come from?" She asked him softly.

"Nowhere." Nightwhisper admitted quietly. "Before I joined Rockclan, I just wandered around, sleeping wherever I could and moving on the next day. I don't miss my old life, but it's strange being in a Clan." Nightwhisper stopped talking for a second, lost in his memories, then shook his head to clear it. "I hope you're right." He said finally.

"Of course I am!" she giggled, nugging his shoulder. "But it's a shame, that you didn't join a clan sooner..." She trailed off, wondering what it would have been like to be without one for so long. She wasn't born in a clan, but she found Rock Clan when she was the age of an apprentice, so she hadn't gone without one for too long. "oh well," she continued, pulling herself back to reality, to the conversation that slipped her mind when her imagination was going wild. "At least you found us now."

"I'm glad I did." Nightwhisper said, looking into her eyes. After a long moment, he stood up and glanced at the fresh kill pile. "I think we're running low on fresh-kill. Want to go hunting?"

She purred, than stood up, "Sure," she replied, glad to finally be going oujt of the camp.

"Ok, great." Nightwhisper began walking out of camp. "Where should we go? I don't really know the best places to hunt." He had just joined the clan a while ago and hadn't explored most of the territory yet.

"I'm not sure," she admitted, "I haven't been let out of the clan much to go hunting, but I hear the base of the mountains is good. Want to try there?"
