P e r s o n a l i t y: Mintpaw is a very sweet apprentice. She is fully blind, but has said nothing, because she is scared she will have to be a medicine cat or in the elders den. She cannot move her right-front paw. She never talks to anyone. But she listens. She also listens to the voices. They always whisper but she cannot understand them. Everytime she tries to run, she flies forward because of her paw. She hates it sooooo much. Usually, she goes some where only she knows and silently cries, thinking she is cursed and hates her life. She does not have any real friends. She never really put herself ot there to talk to them really.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them

(@whoah gal1: Not accepted. This is a semi-literate RolePlay.)

...Crowfur...

The small black tom glanced up, blinking wearily asthe faint scent of a clan cat wafted under his nose. Ahh...Rushwhisker, the medicine cat. He blinked his large green eyes, straightening up and giving his chest fur a few licks. As she came through the entrance to camp, he dipped his head in response, his eyes watching her. "Good morning Rushwhisker. Off to collect som herbs, I presume?" He asked cheerfully, eyes swiftly darting into the forest to glance about, before returning to the she-cat. He gave a pleasant smile, stretching and letting the first few weak rays of sun lick his pelt. He liked standing gaurd just outside of camp, listening to the forest at night. It could be rather peaceful. Shaking himself, he let his thoughts turn back to Rushwhisker. He briefly wondered if she would like any help collecting the herbs, as she didn't have an apprentice. He realizied it was probably high time she got one. Crowfur had imagined Skykit would be the medicine cat apprentice, for she had taken an interest to it. But when he had asked her baout it, she had replied with the most bizarre answer, insisting that Starclan had other plans for her. The young kit was quite an odd one, with her calm, unnerving attitude and her lack of hyperness. Yes, very strange indeed to have a kit like that. He wondered how her mentor would take to it when she got one. But he knew it would be another few moons until Skykit was an apprentice.

...Morningstar...
The she-cat blinked her eyes open as the sounds of Whisperclan awakening started to arise. She could hear murmering, probably cats organizing a patrol. They had become accustomed to organizing it themselves without a deputy. It was high time she chose one, but Morningstar just couldn't decide. There were several good warriors, but who was to lead the clan? And plus, she just couldn't believe that Snowclaw was really gone. He had been one of the few cats she trusted wholly, and he would have made an amazing leader. His death had been an untimely demise. But, he was gone now, and she had to accept that. Unfurling herself from her moos nest, she shook her fur out, giving herself a quick cleaning. Then the she-cat stretched out er body, padding out onto the high rock that led from her den. She padded down the small, gently curving path to the ground, leaping down about a foot before it reached the ground. Licking her llips, she padded to the fresh kill pile, swiping a mouse. Gulping it down, she raised her head to glance at her clanmates. "I need a patrol out if there is not one already!" She yowled, raising her voice above the other sounds. "I shall lead. I would like Flarefoot, Sootface, Amberflame, and Ravenpaw to come along please!" She commanded the names of the cats, sitting in the center of camp to wait for them.

"And to you too, Crowfur," she meowed in response. "I was going to go out, but I decided that waiting for a patrol would be a better idea. So here I am now." Rushwhisker then drew her head back momentarily, trying to think of some conversation to strike up with this Tom. As she was about to speak, she heard Morningstar's voice from back inside the camp. The medicine cat got up and trotted back in, flicking her tail as a signal for the dark warrior to follow, and entered just in time to hear her leader's brief report.

Sootface
Sootface, who had been lounging at the entrance of the warriors den lazily, stood up when he heard Morningstar call his name to join the patrol. He stretched, digging his long claws into the ground and looking around for the other patrol members with his deep blue eyes. Yawning, he approached the high rock, sitting before his leader as he waited for the patrol to begin. Idly, he wondered who he would mentor. Right now, the only kit of the clan was Skykit, and although Sootface was rather fond of the young she-cat, but he had noticed that she could be a little...odd. Ah well, he thought. Someday I will have an apprentice, even though it may not be soon.

Silentpaw
Silentpaw had been listening intently for her name when Morningstar had called out the patrol. "Fox dung!" she swore quietly to herself. She felt like she needed a patrol to take her mind off of things, but of course she wasn't chosen. For several nights, she had been having strange dreams, and sometimes when she was alone she swore she could hear whispers through the forest. She knew that Skykit believed that Starclan had some sort of "mission" for her, but Silentpaw was in no hurry to accept that idea for herself. For all she cared, Starclan didn't need a place in her life. She would be more ready to admit that she was going insane than to believe that she was "chosen" by some dead cats in the sky. Sulking, she headed back to the apprentices' den.

Morningstar
She nodded to Sootface. "Greetings. We will wait for the others and then head out on patrol near the far edge of our territory, by the moorland and meadow." She explained to the tom. Giving a brief smile, she turned her attention back to the other warriors in camp, waiting for everyone to step forwards. Her mind was calm, and for now, at peace. Though she still wondered about Skykit. The young cat insisted that though she would love to, the role of medicine cat apprentice was not for her. She had explained in great detail of a dream where Starclan spoke of a prphecy, and how her sister, a kit of Starclan, had explained what Skykit's destiny was. Well, most of it, anyways. Morningstar shook her head in disbelief. Just the other day, Skykit had come up to inform her the wind was whispering the prophecy to her, and words of wisdom and a great journey. How things would be bad, but then grow to be better. She sighed, wondering if the kit really had a screw loose. After all, she'd watched her sister die.

Crowfur
He glanced at Rushwhisker, about to reply before he too, heard his leader's call. Silently, he stood and follwoed his medicine cat, padding back into camp. Grimacing, he listened for a moment, the sighed, shaking his head. Good, not him. He was tired enough, having stayed up all night to gaaurd camp. He decided he would eat, rest, and then go take his apprentice out for battle training in the clearing. Yes, spectatcular idea, he thought as he opened his mouth in a wide yawn. Turning his head to Rushwhisker, he opened his mouth to speak. "I'll be going to rest now. Good day." That said, he ambled off in the direction of the warriors den.

Shadepaw

Shadepaw approached the apprentice den entrance, looking out at the clan through slightly narrowed, greenish gold eyes. She thought of nothing of it, except that she hated mornings, especially bustling ones like this. Soon, there would be an uproar, and if there was more loud noise, she wouldn't be able to sleep. Shadepaw turned, looking at her neatly furnished moss nest. Shading herself from the sun, the apprentice returned to her nest, settling in calmly. Her expression was now blank, like usual, and she glanced down at her paws as she tucked them away under her chest. Twitching an ear, Shadepaw rested her head on the rim of her nest, looking out at the clan clearing from within the apprentice den. She also looked around the den, noticing how most of the apprentices were up. She glanced around herself, without moving her head, and was pleased with the fact that she had chosen a secluded area. Her nest was in the very back of the den, within the shadows, and the only other owned but unoccupied nest near or next to her at all was her brother's. Now she perked her ears, listening as her brother's paw-pads thumped along, barely audible, in the clan clearing.

Ravenpaw

Ravenpaw was a early-riser, and had just finished grooming himself. He erected his ears and leaned forward, looking towards Morningstar. Then, with the words that emitted from his leader's mouth, he elegantly trotted forward. Ravenpaw flicked his ears, gold eyes shining eagerly.

(Herp a derp. Just ignore my other Flamefoot post; I just re-did it here.)

>> R U S H W H I S K E R.
With a polite nod that Rushwhisker gave to the warrior as he left for his den, she proceeded to pad over to her waiting leader. When she reached her destination atop the highrocks, she pushed her way through few clustered patrol cats and brushed up against the leader. "Good morning," Rushwhisker said. "Mind if I join you all for the patrol? I was going to head out for some herbs earlier, but I had alternately reasoned that a more rational decision would be to accompany a patrol."

>> F L A R E F O O T.
Flarefoot, waking up to multiple drubbings on his side, took his time to get up and wandered out from the warriors' den much later than the others. He did not always do this, but at the same time, he did not feel that he need be in a rush to get his hind out of there.
As he emerged from the rocky cavern entrance, the blistering light shone down upon him through the treetops and blinded his vision momentarily. One ear was perked, though, and he caught his name being declared for the morning patrol. Without second thought, he made his way across camp to where the others were waiting.
Morning patrols were not his favorite thing, and he would much rather curl up and rest during this time, but he was a strong warrior and strong warriors did not complain about silly things like that.
