Rainpaw follows the scent as it gets stronger and stronger. A mouse chews on corn. Then walking near it and pouncing rainpaw misses it but then leaping putting a paw on the mouse killing it in one swift bite. " Theres a squirrel near by I think. The scent is strong but it's near a cave.

Hawkpaw breathed in. "Yes, it would seem so. I don't mind going, but StarClan knows what's in that cave. It is rather risky." He flicked his tail and listened toward the cave.

He walked up behind Rainpaw. "Hmm, I'd always figured it was farther away. Thornpath complains about having to come to it all the time." Hawkpaw purred.
