As they are walking he is only half listening to the conversations around him. It's nice that they're getting along. He misses the chatter that is usually absent when he is around. Sometimes it seems that he has to butt into things - like back at camp with FallenSoul and the kits and HalfBone - more than be talked to. And honestly he isn't sure if he likes the fact or not. "You don't have to fish, Evening Brook," is said, "you can hunt the riverbank, " he offers, "I'm sure noone would mind. "

Slowly the silver cat feels himself relaxing, and he veers off from the group after the scent of a vole. He does come back with it after a moment or so. "I suppose," is spoken around the prey, "that they are different things, never thought of it before, Twilight. " And there's a great many things he hasn't thought of. Like how others see the world, and how a fox can speak cat - the way a badger in the old stories did - and how come there isn't a clan of fox? Suddenly he feels very young, when usually he feels worn and old. The old familiar itch in his paws begins, the itch to travel and learn and see the world.

It's manageable and he pushes it down.

Still, he's relaxed and Fallen, or Fell, as he insists he's called when he is close to another, continues to listen and to walk until they make it to the river bank. Quietly, at the base of a dead pine, he digs a hole for caught prey and deposits the vole. Does he like this? He's typically alone. "We can always meet up, everyone to do as they please. Meet again in an hour or so?"

He doesn't make friends easy, as he'd told BoneHollow before, and suddenly he's almost sure that he has three. They, the outcasts of the Clan, like he is. Would they do this again? It's ... it's nice. His muzzle curls into a soft, sweet smile as he gazes at the trio who are with him.

"B-be safe!" Is called after Slasher as he leaves the den; it leaves her feeling exposed. Not to mention that the chill inside the soil den seeps into her pelt, it seems. The kits snuggle closer, seeming to agree with her unspoken thoughts on the cool.

The queen blinks at Ella and Kion before speaking, "i.. I suppose so." Is agreed to the brother, before speaking with trepidation to Soul, at the options before them - the ones offered. "I-i ddont wha-want mmy kits ssstole by two-twolegs." She swallows her nerves, "they-they ddont care about us."

She blinks at Ella and Kion as she is also given affection. Would the cats here pair up? Would... would she take another mate? Adopt more kits? Have more kits? Suddenly warmth fills her chest and she stares at the ground as her ears burn as she processes the whole situation. "It-it would be nnice... to have a p-purmanent ffamily, homme."

Reaperstar listened to Pumpkin Spice Latte's words carefully. He thought for a moment and nodded. "Alright I'll allow you to join us, however you need to go through some training. Shadestripe here can show you. You'll need to show him you can hunt, fight, navigate and keep up with him. Are you ok with this?" He asked them.

Nightlight looked up, another fish in his jaws. He padded out of the water and set the fish down with the others. "I think this is plenty. You both did a fantasy job. I'm proud of you both." He mewed to them. "Ok let's head back to camp."

Holly nodded and looked to Niia. "I think I get it. My mother showed me something close to what you're saying, but she had me in the water and trying to swipe them out or grab them with my teeth." She mewed softly. "Can you show me the one where your head in under the water? I'm curious about that one."

Pumpkinspot looked at Silentmoon and Deadwraith as they approached. "Yeah I can take you both out. What would you both like to do? Explore the territory, hunt or battle train?" He asked them as he stood up on his branch.

Darknettle followed Nightlight and Shadestripe back into camp from night partol. He headed right to the warrior's den, curling up in his nest.

Moonshade nodded, still hiding in his tail. "Y...yeah you're right Lantern...thank you." He let out a cute squeak as Silentmoon and Deadwraith joined them. "Oh um...i...we were gonna nap....till later then hunt..." He mewed shyly.

Grimshadow nodded, listening to her words. "I see." He said in hid deep voice. "Yes I'm a warrior. My name is Grimshadow. It's a pleasure to meet you Bloodwolf." He said to her, his eyes never leaving herd as he spoke. "If you're interested I'm pretty sure my leader Reaperstar is looking to take cats in after an illness left us many cats sort." He mewed softly.


Shadestripe/Warrior/25 Moons/Pumpkin Spice Latte

Shadestripe said nothing at Pumpkin Spice Latte calling Reaperstar handsome. "Yes that's Pebblespot beside him. Come let's go talk to them." He padded over to them, bowing his head in respect to his leader. "Hello Reaperstar, Pebblespot. I have a cat here who wishes to join our clan. If that's ok with you Reaperstar." He mewed to his leader.

Bandit beemed at Myuri as he padded over to them both. He was proud of his catches and even prouder to feed his clanmates. He nodded and grabbed as much fish as he could.



Bonehollow/Warrior/39 moons/Fell, Twilight, Evening Brook

Bonehollow padded along with the others and nodded in agreement. "Yeah if it might be easier for you Evening Brook you don't gotta fish. Whatever we can get the clan will appreciate." He mewes, giving the other a gentle nuzzle to show his support. He nodded once more. "Sounds good to me Fell." He mewed as he passed the other, pausing to nuzzle him as well, letting his friend know he's there for them. He turned and shyly moved to Twilight and leaned up the best he could to nuzzle her as well before padding off to go hunt.

Brook looked quite overwhelmed with so many cats around her but tried to stay calm. She could do this. She tried hard not to react at Shiverbones's words but her claws dug into the dirt under her paws. She was happy when the others stood up for her however. "Join you?" She mewed, her head tilting. "It would be nice to help others and be with other cats." She said softly.

Candycorn chuckled softly at her comment. "I guess it kinda does. Only one in my litter to look like this. My mother thought I looked handsome and my father thought my coloring would find me a good home and I have." He mewed to her. "Some don't, but I'm free to go outside whenever I wish. I love to hunt and explore." He said getting to his paws. "Ok follow me Tempestfields as he started to pad away.

Caramel gave them a friendly smile. "Are you hungry?" She asked Tarantula. "My twolegs gave me some fresh fish dismorning and it's way to much for me so if you'd like help yourself." She purred.

The silver cat hums a reply to the unspoken thoughts of Evening Brook, "Anything you feel comfortable with," is agreed with BoneHollow. But then the latter is licking his head and he goes completely still, holding his breath, frozen from the affection so publicly given. He isn't used to physical affection; how many moons had it been?

This day is brimming with surprises and uncertainties.

Fallen drags himself from the spiraling thoughts of love and loss. It isn't safe to think about it. It's better not to care. Isn't it? Isn't it? He offers the shadow of a smile and moves closer to the water, soundless. What is he to say? Should he let himself feel? It'd been moons. And even before that his life hadn't been filled with comfort. Habits learned aren't easily escaped.

She looked at him a little bit interested at first but then stepped back when he mentioned an illness "I.illness, what illness..." she meowed, a little uncertain now. She was not sure if she wanted to join a group of cats with some cat killing illness spreads around. The first thing that came to her mind was rabies which probably would have killed the whole group, so it wasn't that one.

He perked his ears as well, but could not see anyone, likely the cat asking was on the corner where they could not see each other. As a former house cat, they were not that good at hunting so they missed almost all the time. For now, they found a lucky place an abandoned human building, which had likely some leftovers as there were plenty of mice. Even he managed to catch some with his very bad skills.

They were taken out to walk by their owner at the dog park nearby, to a place where dogs could be free to run and play. It took half an hour, which took some of the energy out of them, but not all, but they needed to get back to the house as their owner needed to go to work. As they got into the building the darker pup ran toward the cats in the house "Spiced, Pumpkin Spice, you never know what we saw out there" he called out with barks.

FeatherShadow laid sunbathing hoping today would be the day she would be told she could be an apprentice. But she didnt want to be a warrior, she wanted to be the next Medicine Cat. She looked around and saw Redblood causing her to jump up and shake the dust from her pelt before padding over "Good morning! Can i help with anything RedBlood?" She asked softly but cheerful.

SpiderHeart yawned and stretched near the edge of the woods about to leave for a hunt when he spotted LimeLeaf and padded over "Morning... Save me any rats to catch?" he asked smiling. He was always carefree and nonchalant which made him a favorite with the apprentices but he did know when to be serious.

FrogTooth laid awake in the den not wanting to get up and start his day yet. he yawned and curled up tighter his thin tail covering his nose. After some time he realized sleep was not coming back for him so he sighed and slowly got up exiting the den looking around like somehow the world has done him wrong.

SpottedBird sat near the warriors den waiting for her mentor to come out so they could go hunting. She loved hunting and truthfully she was very good at it. Her goal was to one day catch a few rabbits for the clan but so far her size and speed are holding her back but with a bit more traning and time she will get there and she knew it but that didnt mean she wanted to wait either.

CedarPelt sat not far from the waterfall looking for any signs of another cat. He wanted to catch fish but wasnt good at it at all so he wanted some peace while he practiced especially if he was supposed to train another cat how to do it.

The mousy little she cat shook her head a couple times. Sighing and getting up from her nest, looking around for a moment. She then walked out of the den, where she was considered more of a senior warrior, maybe. She flicked her tail back and forth. She saw Redblood and another, so she stopped. She called out “Hey, Redblood!”

(I assume Mousewhisper is the one Redblood was thinking of seeing)

They shook their head as he then went off. They began to sniff around, and soon caught the scent of what they hoped were rabbits.

The Somali cat wanted to say they could try it…Instead they just sighed, nodding at the other two and saying “Okay.” They glanced to their best friend a moment, the fox’s fluffy tail flicking back and forth. Their own fluffy tail flicked back and forth as well. They squeaked when the male cat gave them a gentle nuzzle. They said “Thank…you for saying the others will appreciate any food.” They then glanced to the fox, as he went over to the fox. They began to sniff around, trying to catch prey scents.

The green and blue eyed kitty made a sound that would have been a yelp. That was, if he were a human or a dog. He looked at Soul as if taken aback by the fact Soul had done that. He then felt warm, as he realized the other must be flirting with him. He flicked his tail against the other. As if flirting back a bit.

The green eyed golden brown she cat glanced over as she heard the sound her brother made. She gave a delighted sound. It would have been laughter if she were a human. Shaking her head, she looked to Moss and the two kits that were with her.

She nods at the other female, and says “They shouldn’t have done that…If they left you with claws on some of your paws, that’s good though. Since it means you can still defend yourself. They really won’t come looking for us out here… There’s too many places to look. If Slasher finds us a new place, maybe an abandoned she’d or cabin or something, we’ll definitely be safe. Humans don’t come back to places they’ve abandoned.” Well, that wasn’t counting urban explorers… but they didn’t bother animals.

The male, pretty for a male and smaller as well as slender, sighed. His ears twitched and perked as he thought he definitely heard voices. He walked a bit closer, saying “I know you’re there…We may not be dogs, but even cats can smell things,” he said. Meaning he’d smelled their scents. He wondered how long the two strangers had been staying there. He shook his head, and sat to scratch at the bandana. He’d been someone’s cat once, when he was very young, but she’d gotten sick with leukemia…and couldn’t be saved.

(Hopefully it’s okay to mention she was a child since she died…but his owner was a twelve year old girl. She had leukemia and passed away when he was only one or one and a half, so he then ran away because he didn’t want to stay there anymore)
