Shadestar shook his head. "Many cats are just doing whatever they'd like today. I'll do some patrols later so for now enjoy the day with your Apprentice." He said with a purr.

Lostsoul looked at Darkpaw with a smile. "That's ok." He said with a purr. "You're learning and to be honest fishing is rather hard to get. I remember my first time. I fell right in. I was so embarrassed but Shadestar just smiled and helped me out. He was a great teacher and he's a really good fisher. So I have quite a few tips and tricks we can try." He said softly to him.

Halfmask smiled and took another bite of the prey before speaking."Not much. I am curious to know when Shadestar will send a patrol to see what these Rogues want." She said with a slight tilt of her head. "I agree with you there. They're in our territory." She said with a soft hiss. "But we also don't know just how many or how strong these Rogues are."

Hollowsight/24 Moons/Warrior/Open

Hollowsight was out of camp, having spent most of the night in the forest cause well...he couldn't sleep and loved being out at night. He felt at home out in the woods, listening to the night time noises. He mewed a quick greeting to the guard and padded right into the warrior's den and curling up in his nest.

Ripplepaw/7 Moons/ Apprentice/Falconshade

Ripplepaw's ears lowered as he limped beside his mentor. "Yes Falconshade." He said softly. He was embarrassed and in pain. He knew he could've caught the squirrel if he'd only dug his claws in a bit deeper into the bark of the tree. "It's ok Falconshade. I should've known better. We haven't done any training on it, but I wanted to catch it for the clan."

Willowbreeze nodded as she took a bite of the hare before speaking. "I do miss my Warrior days but I just don't think I have the heart to try to go back out there you know? It's just.. hard to move on and I know I should but things just hold me back." She mewed to the other she cat.

Nightmare chuckled softly, his tail running along her side. "I would indeed and I don't think Thunder would keep me as his second either." He said with a teasing smile. He kept pace with her as they made their way to the marigold. He stopped and sniffed the air. "Yes. It doesn't smell like Moonclan. Shall we check it out?"

Thorn nodded. "I see. Well would you like to go hunting with me? Or perhaps check our borders?" She asked the young tom.

Minnie shook her head. "Hmm maybe hunting or practicing some battle moves. Can't be too ready for when we run into any dangers." She said with a purr. "I'd love to hunt and battle train with you since you're so strong!"

From the shadows a young tom watched Snowshadow. He was curious about the warrior but knew better than to just approach a Moonclan Warrior. His pelt hid him well as his amber eyes never left Snowshadow's form.

A small young tom padded along in Moonclan territory. He didn't seem all that bothered by the sents of the clan or the Rogues. He smiled to himself as he looked up at the bright blue sky. (Oh baby boy gonna get snatched by the rogues)

A small bundle a fluff was curled up under a log that her mother had dug out. She wasn't sure where her mom went since it'd been a few days. She was cold, tiredand hungry. She tried to stay quiet but let out a small mew when she saw paws. (Open to either the Rogues or Moonclan.)

He stayed in the meadow for a little bit longer, knowing that the patrols could be already out but that didn't bother him that much. He was never being group patroller anyway, he loved to do his own solo patrols. Though he was being given an apprentice and for that apprentice, he could need to get back to camp soon.

She looked at her, she didn't truly understand that either Willowbreeze or Creamflower wanted to get back to the warrior duties after losing their kits. She felt like the clan just lost two great warriors, to protect the clan from other dangers, even if she knew that both of them knew how to fight or maybe she just didn't completely understand the suffering the mother felt when they lost their kits. She sighed "I think warrior duties could take your mind somewhere else, and it could keep your mind focused, I am not the mother I don't know anything about being one or the suffering you are felt after...but that's you, I think I could not stay in the nursery after something like that it could be too...heartbreaking" she meowed.

She looked at her mentor and her brother, before nodding. Her eyes turned to Ducksplash as well to hear his answer to the questions, but as far as she thought it was okay with tom as he didn't seem to argue against it even if he didn't give an answer to the questions yet.

She looked to the woods above them "you think so too? yeah they seem intimidating" she meowed silently. She had noticed that the rogue leader had his eyes on her and her son Skyclaw. It made her a little worried and more unsure if staying in this group could be the right choice, she didn't have her mate to protect her any longer she was alone. She shook her head "we will hunt what we can find, hunting just one species is waste of time" she meowed to her. At least she could do something to keep the other cats at the group pleased by hunting as much as possible "...so you said you know the basics? then you can smell and say what we can try to hunt down in here?" she meowed to her.

He looked at Thorn "sure, maybe we could do both? I mean we can check the borders or some side of it and hunt what we can find there right?" he meowed flicking his tail. He smiled but that dropped as fast as it come up "I feel like the commander doesn't trust me, maybe he could see me in a different light if I do something to make sure the group is safe and fed" he meowed.

indentation Snorting at the arguably young tom padded away, and turned her attention to the queen. Tail twitching as some minor irritation bubbled up in her gut, the lynx point cat sighed, "If you allow me to eat first, I may be able to dig down into my frozen heart to tell you one little story." She admitted, while she usually adored telling other stories - usually young kits, or apprentices - she would like to be able to eat sometime today. Making a snap decision and taking the large hare, the feline, hefted up the carcass and padded back towards the elder's cave, settling just outside it. She motioned the little queenie to come over and quickly settled in to eat.

indentation Waking from his short cat-nap the silent as ever sapphire-eyed tom, blearily looked over those still in camp. He grumbled something incoherent under his breath, then got to his feet and stretched himself out, letting out a loud open-mouthed yawn as he did so. There wasn't really much for him to do at this point was there? Maybe get some exercise, and do some light hunting before Nightmare gets back. Fill my belly at least. He mused silently as his gaze wandered over the area, before nodding and leaping off his perch. Calm and confidant the tabby strolled over to the entrance, and left the abandoned twoleg nest, giving it a single backward glance, before he disappeared into the shrubbery beyond..

indentation Bella clenched her jaw in effort to keep her mouth from hanging open like some "unsophisticated heathen" as her sire would say. Quailsky finds them intimidating too? Really, but she's an adult and so strong! Bella had half a mind to interrogate question, the former warrior about it but refrained. "Sire taught me and brother the basic hunting crouch before he disappeared, but after that, we learned through trial and error. Some prey scents are still a mystery to me." Belladonna answered, grimacing. She left quite inept, to be honest, next to most of the adults in the group. But I'm the youngest here, so that's to be expected right?

Creamflower nods and smiles, agreeing to allow elder to eat before sharing a story. "Of course Laurelblaze!" she said. Upon seeing the elder motion for her to follow, she pads over to the elders' den and laid down in front of the elder, patiently waiting to hear a good story.

"bah, they're rogues." martenfang wrinkled her nose. "they aren't known for having each other's backs, or anything. us clan-cats could divide their ranks any day." the she-cat acted as if the words she spoke tasted foul on her tongue. "no true loyalty to a leader... let alone a higher power!" she shook her head. "they're driven by nothing but their own hedonistic whims."

except for holly, of course. martenfang wondered if they'd meet again soon... perhaps even tonight?

taking one last bite of the squirrel, she softly pushed the rest of it towards halfmask. "it's all yours to finish," she mewed, her mouth still full. after swallowing it all down, she added, "and whenever you're ready, we can head out. hopefully we won't run into any of those rogues while trying to get our hunt done, though... maybe we should have a third cat come with us?"

Dawnheart nodded with approval when Stormpaw started talking to her brother. She took that as confirmation enough that she was alright with battle training. She smiled at Ducksplash, “Well we’re ready whenever you guys are then.”

Sunstrike gave Shadestar a sharp grin, "That sounds great Shadestar, thank you." He turned his attention to Tigerpaw then, "Well Tigerpaw, what do you say to some battle training?" He wanted to make sure that he covered everything that Tigerpaw needed to know. He was one of the best warriors Moonclan had, so there was no way his apprentice would be any less.

Darkpaw's slender shoulders relaxed as Lostsoul reassured him. He was worried that maybe the other tom might get annoyed that he wasn't good enough, but he was glad to see the opposite was true. He let out a mrrow of amusement as Lostsoul told him he'd fallen in during his training with Shadestar. "I'll try not to do that at the very least," he perked up a bit and the excitement returned to his step as he followed after the young warrior.

Wolfpaw's tail continued to wave excitedly as he looked between his sister and Ducksplash, waiting for his mentor to give them the go ahead.

A soft smile crossed Falconshade's face as he offered his shoulder to Ripplepaw should the young tom need any help. "That's alright Ripplepaw, we both made a mistake but so long as we learn from it that's what's important." He didn't want Ripplepaw to be discouraged from hunting in the trees, but it was vital to know how to do it before one tried. Unfortunately he wasn't fond of heights so he'd avoided the subject for the most part. That mistake was on him. "There will be plenty more things to catch for the clan, but you can't hunt if you're hurt. Part of being a warrior is learning which battles to fight and when to let something go."

He pushed past the entrance to camp and laid eyes on Softpaw who was standing by the prey pile. "Softpaw!" He called out to the young she-cat, "Ripplepaw fell out of a tree, can you give him a look over?"

Holly/52 moons/Healer/Nightmare, ???

Holly felt her pelt getting warm as Nightmare ran his tail down her side, but she quickly shook the thoughts out of her head. She had a job to do as a healer...not that it had stopped her in the past. As the unfamiliar scent hit her nose though she paused. Thunder would want to know about any unfamiliar cats in the territory so it would be good to know who was around. "Yes," she told Nightmare shortly before changing course to follow the scent.

As the scent got stronger she moved downwind and crouched low in the underbrush, creeping along until she could get a look at their intruder. She bit back a small snort as she spotted the young tom wandering around with his head apparently in the clouds and not a care in the world. "What should we do about him?" She quietly asked Nightmare, he was the second after all.

Shadestar smiled. "You're welcome." He purred. He padded off out of camp to clear his head and think of what exactly to do about the rogues and just to get some fresh air.

Lostsoul smiled happily at the young tom as they got to the stream. He padded over to a deeper pool of water and slowly waded in. "Now most cats like to stay on the banks and catch fish that way. I like it this way." He waited as a fush got close before snapping his head into the water, grabbing the fish in his jaws and giving it a killing blow, before shaking the water droplets from his face. "It takes a lot of practice but I think you got this." He said with a purr as he tossed the fish onto the bank.

Halfmask smiled and shook her head, listening to Martenfang go on. "I agree with you there." She said with a purr. She quickly finished the squirrel before getting to her paws and stretching. "We could head out now and I think we'll be alright. We can hunt on the other side of our territory. The Rogues shouldn't be there." She said with a mew.

He really felt like he let not only his clan down but Falconshade too. He looked up to the tom and hated when he did something wrong. He just kept his head down as he spoke. "Yes Falconshade, I understand." He mewed softly.

Willowbreeze nodded, listening quietly to Branchflight before speaking. "I suppose you're right, but I stay because other queens might need me or are too busy to want to raise kits. It may seem silly but I do enjoy watching over the kits or other queens. I help where I'm needed so at least I'm helpful to the clan." She mewed softly.

"I don't think the commander trusts many cats in the group but you're doing your best and in all honesty that's all that matters." She said resting her tail on his shoulders, giving him a kind smile.

Fallenblaze watched Snowshadow for a moment more before deciding to act. He crept foward as close as he could with being spotted before pouncing on the other tom and pinning him down. "Ha you clan cats aren't so tough are ya?" He mewed, his tail swishing confidently.

Pumpkin let out a loud squeak as a huge black tom jumped infront of him, hissing at him. "Th...Thunder?" He mewed softly, his voice trembling. "I..I'm sorry sir I didn't realize this bit of territory belonged to any cat." He said keeping himself low. "I mean no harm."

martenfang also rose to her paws, flexing her claws as a rush of nervous excitement coursed through her body. "sounds like a plan," she chirped, beginning to lead the way out of camp just as her brother was entering.

"hey, stoatwhisker," martenfang said, giving her brother's shoulder a friendly tap with her tail. "you went out alone?"

"just a quick little spying mission," the tom responded with a curt nod. "the rogue stench... it's unbearable. they've fanned out their ranks all over our territory. shadestar might have to send some warriors over to pressure them back into their original boundaries... though that could get ugly." he sighed almost profoundly. "they're starting to mark the territory in different places than before, and they're starting to take more and more of what's ours for themselves."

martenfang shook her head. "those fox-hearts." something had to be done. "we need to stage an intervention, or else they'll jsut keep taking and taking." she turned to halfmask. "maybe we can fix the scent markers ourselves." then, she turned back to stoatwhisker. "you should probably let shadestar know about this whenever you see him again."

"i'll be sure to," stoatwhisker said before mewing his farewell and disappearing into the undergrowth.

with that, martenfang unsheathed her claws, teeth gritted. "looks like this might turn into more than a hunting patrol, huh?"

Honeyfeather woke up from a dream and padded clumsily out of the Warriors' den before stopping to stretch her legs. She couldn't remember the dream, but she felt so warm and comfortable. She was still trying to shake off the sleep and look around camp to see if anything was going on when she saw her brother's tail disappear out the entrance to camp. She ignored it and went to see if she could grab a bite to eat and wake up for a bit. She snagged a mouse and settled down with a good view of camp to eat.

Sparrowfoot caught sight of Honeyfeather in the entrance to the Warriors' den. He hadn't checked the pile of fresh-kill but hunting something else probably wouldn't hurt. He made a beeline to exit camp and get out to the open air. Honeyfeather usually took a while to wake up so he could be out doing something productive long before she got bored enough to pick on him. He could probably find a hunting party out there already. At least he hoped, so he didn't have to take the chance of running into Rogues alone. In his haste, he didn't pay attention and found his paws only after crashing into another cat near the entrance.

(There seem to be several cats just outside camp, anyone want to take little Sparrowfoot along?)

Drift noticed the old two legs home they called camp was mighty empty. He briefly wondered if he was missing out on a run-in with the stuck-up clan cats that didn't know anything worse to call someone than mousebrain. He could probably go out there and find trouble, but what was the rush? He padded over to a piece of wood, sinking his claws into it and scratching downwards to stretch his shoulders a bit.
