Mothstar nods "Yes of course. Newtpaw you can go. Make sure you get some rest today, it's going to be a long night for you." she mews softly standing up and stretching her stiff pelt. Seeing her deputy in the clearing Mothstar nods her goodbye to Newtpaw and gives Flamefoot a thoughtful lick on his head "I'm sure it will be fine, do try to not worry so much. Make sure you come and speak to me again before you go." Mothstar says with a smile, and walks over to Condorflurry.

Sootstorm huffs "Yeah sure, you can have a bite." he takes another bite quickly, swallowing basically without chewing. The small grey tom begins cleaning his pelt, noticing it got quite dirty from rolling round on the dusty stone floor of camp.

Owlfeather licked her lips and began to clean her paws as she finished her fresh-kill. She watched as the rest of her classmates arose and became active.Everything as usual,she purred contentedly to herself. She saw as Peachpetal and Condorflurry conversed with each other, and she flicked her ears in interest. Ever since she was a kit, she remembers feeling a type of affection for him. She loves her clan, But.. this was a different feeling for her. She always worried how he felt though, as she knows she's never expressed her feelings, or vice versa. Maybe he'll invite me on a hunt, or a patrol. she thinks to herself excitedly. Owlfeather continues to groom herself, keeping an eye and ear out for anything suspicious.

Briarpaw mewed gleefully. "I heard that it rains because the last cat in the Starpelt cried for company! Imagine how sad they must've been," She pondered aloud.
"I would love a bite! Thank you Badgerjaw. Could we maybe hunt or train today? To be the best warrior I gotta practice!" She batted around the fresh- kill before taking a few mouthfuls. This was a staple move for Briarpaw, although she prides in wanting to be a determined and vigilant hunter, she has yet to actually catch live prey. Even if it was getting dark, Briarpaw knew that she would need to become skilled at night as equally in the daytime.

Flamefoot felt his ears grow hot as Mothstar licked the top of his head. He gave her a halfhearted smile in return before she turned away to talk to her deputy. Looking over at Newtpaw he blinked gratefully at the apprentice. "Thank you for volunteering. That was a very brave thing to do." Some cats were unnerved by being down so deep underground. He had felt the urge to run the first time he'd gone under himself, but he'd sense gotten used to it. "Mothstar's right you'll need your energy for tonight. If you need me to speak to your mentor about getting off from chores or training I'd be happy to do so." Flamefoot glanced upwards and noticed the currently sparse clouds that were above. Hopefully he was just imagining the rain he'd smelt in the wind earlier. He'd need a clear night for the moon to shine.

Lakesong yawned and slowly stepped out of the warriors den and shook her long grey fur before looking around. She was happy to feel the air beginning to warm as greenleaf crept closer and closer. But for now it was good to enjoy new leaf while it lasted.

After stretching one final time the she-cat walked to a comfortable spot of ground and sat down and began to groom her fur, occasionally looking up to give a warm look to any of her clanmates that approached

He listened to her with a smile, he enjoyed how excited the she-cat seemed to be about the little task he gave to her "Alright I will take the border patrol then..." he murmured giving another quick look around him. Noticing some of the warriors who were not really doing anything at the moment "hmm? well, you can ask if Owlfeather or Goldenviper would want to join you? three great hunters could be enough for a hunting patrol" he responded to her.

Peachpetal shivered excitedly when he referred to her as "great hunter", and nodded happily "Sir yes sir!" she giggled as she made a silly voice when saying that line, mocking herself to an extent before happily trotting in the direction of Owlfeather, who was close enough to her and seemed to have her attention this way anyways. "Owlfeather!" she mused as she got closer to the she-cat, "Care to go on a hunt? I'm headed to see GoldenViper as well" she mused, ensuring there'd be no surprises as to who else was coming. The she-cat swayed on her feer as she spoke, vibrant and cheery as always. She hoped her good vibes were contagious.

He watched after the young she-cat who walked away to get the few cats he told her to take, but of course she could ask anyone else too if she so wanted. Sighing he took another look around seeing the leader finishing her conversations with the medicine cat and gave him the look, which made him wonder if she had something to say to him. So he decided to wait for a little while before getting the cats to the border patrol.

He sat near the camp entrance his eyes looking around at his clanmates which were up already- He thought there were no patrols being sent out yet so he just patiently waited to see what will happen next if anything at all.

Mothstar loooks back over at the apprentice, sitting with Flamefoot. "How has your morning been so far?" she asks.

He flicked his tail as he gave a look around the camp "So how's your morning so far?" he asked.

Flamefoot gave Newtpaw a nod. "I'll wake you when its time." He got to his paws and buried the bones and fur of what was left of his mouse. He spotted Brookstep eating a sparrow and headed across the clearing towards her. "How have you been feeling?" He asked with a head tilt and a glance at her belly which was barely showing the first signs of kits. He knew she might be nervous for her first litter and he was hoping to let her know the rest of the clan was ready to support her.
