Jude seemed to calm down a bit, although her ears still flicked back and forth, listening to the sounds. Jude looked at Tia. "What do you think of the place?" curiosity dripped from her voice. She side-glanced at Blake, wishing to be as calm and sure as he was.

((That last sentence makes sense to you guys right? .. I'm not completely sure..))

Tia turned to Jude, trying to keep herself calm and restrained. Forcing herself to sit again, the Sloughi shuffled her paws, her eyes still roaming over their surroundings. "It's loud. A little bit frightening, to be honest." She admitted quietly, watching the cars as they drove, oblivious to the group of three dogs sitting together.

Her shivering stopped, the fright of the activity warming her, and she found herself feeling better. Shivering was almost instictive with her breed- their thin pelts didn't count for much when it came to colder weather. Tia drew nearer to Blake and Jude, enjoying the ease of the conversation.

Blake sensed the tension rising from both Tia and Jude, and forced himself to remain calm. He knew that he was all that kept them from complete panic, so fought to reassure then. "Don't worry. We'll be fine if we stick together. Be strong." Blake was calming himself just as much as Tia and Jude, but he had to be an example. He was the streewise one, the one who was used to all this. If he showed fear, they would believe it. Or so it seemed, he couldn't be sure. To Tia, he murmured, "You get used to the noise, after a while." Blake shuffled closer as Tia began shivering.

Jude glanced at Tia, "Are you cold?" she asked, concerned for her new friend, she moved close to Tia, pressing her thick fur to her companion. "Will we be sticking together now?" she asked, confirming what Blake had said to them. Jude was alone once, she didn't want to be alone again.

Grateful for the warmth of both Jude and Blake, Tia smiled. "I'm not much used to any weather other than scorching hot." She chuckled, reaching to lick Jude's muzzle and doing the same to Blake. She felt how calm he was, and it soothed her more than she could say. Jude seemed to be more settled now too, and Tia noticed the atmosphere had returned almost to normal again.

"I'd like to." She told Jude, waiting for Blake to reply. She did not want to set off on her own again after knowing companionship for the first time.

Archie stumbled out of the mess and drooped his ears.He couldn't see anymore sign of the female.Archie sighed.''I'm alone again.''All he had wanted was a friend.The streets where scary,although it was no place for a group.Maybe,there could be one though..Dogs for dogs,looking after each other.Archie gave a muffled yawn,but he sensed something was wrong.He whipped round and spied some torches.His eyes rounded and he turned and fled as fast as his stubby legs could carry him.

"That would be nice." Blake admitted, gladly. He was reluctant to go back to his old ways, living on his own in the alley. It would be nice to have friends again. Well, not really again, Blake had never had any friends when he was with his humans, and after that he tended to stay away from strange dogs. But he was glad to have come and helped Tia. He'd made two good friends, who he could already feel himself trusting. Perhaps it was easier to trust them because he could relate to them. Sure, he was never a show dog, but he had been cast out for no reason, too. They were all just tying to stay alive, weren't they? Trying to escape their pasts and start again? Blake was all for forgetting, and Tia and Jude didn't seem to think too fondly of their old lives.

Tia's eyes shone gratefully. She had friends. Friends that looked like they'd stick by her no matter what. She already knew she'd stick by them. The sound of a dog running caught the female's attention, and she glanced over to see a small dog that seemed to be fleeing. She peered more carefully at him. He seemed familiar. "It's the dog from the garbage!" She said, recognizing him now. If he was running from something, it was clearly heading their way.

She gave a whimper, halfheartedly calling to him. She wasn't sure if he'd stop or not- he seemed rather panicked.

Archie gave a half-hearted look at the whimper.It was hard enough running and looking,let alone running,looking and recongnizing.Archie gave a small yip and slowed down,circling them.''People..''Archie panted.''Heading this way..Come..''Archie's spark in his eyes died as he heard the -loud & smelly- footsteps of humans.He gulped and looked at the dogs,scared,hoping they would get what he meant and run.

Jude stood up quickly, her ears laid back against her head. "I knew that feeling in my gut was telling the truth!" she yipped. Jude waited for the others to start moving before she even dared, she wondered what this little dog could have done to cause the humans to be so upset that they would chase him.
