Quietstar felt a surge of relief as she watched the dog take off quickly followed by Eaglefrost and Swiftleap. She hesitated, considering going after them for a moment before she turned away. They'd be fine, they'd all injured the dog.. She moved quickly back to her den and leapt up on the rock she used to call for meetings. "Gather around!" she called out not using her usual call for a meeting. Given what had just happened she was too wound up to use any proper greeting. With her tail lashing she looked down at the cats still in camp her eyes searching them all for any severe wounds.

Swiftleap immediately took off after Eaglefrost as soon as he got the signal from the other tom. Tracking the dog with ease he spat angrily towards the creature as it continued out of their territory. He took a step back then before he quickly looked around and scented the air trying to see if he could find any other dogs lurking around. But he didn't scent any, just the one they'd driven off. "I think it was alone." he said trying to allow himself a moment to calm down after that. Though he felt relieved he didn't feel any calmer, at least not yet.

Hawktalon yawned slightly, he turned his head quickly as he heard his name giving Owlpaw a piercing glare before he realized who he was and his gaze softened. "Oh good morning Owlpaw." he replied calmly. He flicked his tail slowly "I was thinking of asking you the same thing." he replied with a small smirk. "What do you think we should work on?" he asked tilting his head slightly as he spoke. He honestly wanted to know what Owlpaw wanted to work on more. Sure he could guide him and tell him what he thought he needed to work on. Which worked most days. But how would he ever really know what Owlpaw felt less confident with if he never asked him for his own opinion? It was his training after all.

He watched as the other warriors drove the dog away and moved from his spot standing in front of his apprentice. He sat down and let out a sigh before he turned his head to look over at Quietstar.

Reedgaze shook her head "I was just laying in my nest.." she trailed off as she turned her head watching the warriors drive the dog away. "I came out to see what was up but I didn't go rushing off to join the fight." She was a hunter and she knew that was for a reason. She was the worst fighter out of her siblings so it didn't really come as a surprise to her when she was made a hunter. She'd thought about trying to train more to change that but.. Honestly she enjoyed her position.

Pinesting followed Reedgaze out the noise in camp having woken him up. It only took a few heartbeats before he brushed past her running over to the nursery his heartbeat pounding in his ears. His eyes shone with fear as his mate was in the nursery and he didn't believe she was awake yet or could even get out in time if the dog got any closer.

Ashfrost's eyes narrowed, "A loner? What was he doing here?! Did he lure the dog?"
He demanded an explanation, having been out of camp when Leap arrived.

Ashfrost hesitated however at the tom's request, padding over to the medicine stock and peering in. He was unfamiliar with all of the herbs loaded inside but he at least managed to locate the cobwebs. Gathering some and taking them over to Tumblespirit who seemed to at least know what he was doing more than he did.

His ears twitched at the sound of the Quietstar's call. Feeling conflicted whether to go over or guard the 'sleeping' loner whom he was still very much wary of.

The apprentice was asleep in his den, rolling around before noticing the light shining on his face. He slowly woke up, letting out a big yawn, getting out lazily. Elmpaw peered out of the den, noticing that something had happened while he was asleep, as he turned towards the leader calling for attention. Grooming his messy fur gently, he waited until everyone gathered, trying to figure out what had happened. “An attack?” He muttered in confusion.

➣ Wolfheart had watched shockingly as the dog came into the camp so suddenly. She watched as her apprentice went to aid his brother's assistance while the grey tabby hurried to defend any sleeping cats still in the warriors den. She took notice that her clanmates managed to drag the unknown tom out of the way and chased off the dog with Eaglefrost and Swiftleap at its heels. Hearing Quietstar call for a meeting, the grey tabby went and stopped just outside the medicine cat's den seeing that Bearpaw hurried to her side. "I'm very proud of you Bearpaw,you did very well protecting your clan." Wolfheart whispered into her apprentice's ear as she awaiting the news that Quietstar was going to say.

☞WRENTALON watched the lingering look that Eaglefrost and Quietstar shared before her brother disappeared into the trees, chasing after the dog. From there, her perceptive green eyes followed her leader to the rock. Hearing a less-than-formal call to gathering, the calico she-cat padded forward, opting to stand, her head tilted back slightly as to see her strong leader. Standing silently, the hunter was able to note the obvious signs of agitation in her leader. And rightly so. Wrentalon felt a pelt brush against hers and glanced over her shoulder, her gaze softening as she identified Bearpaw. The pair stood together for only a moment, waiting respectfully and patiently.

☞BEARPAW had just finished his cleaning when he heard Quietstar's familiar yowl, though this call was far less formal than the rest. Glancing at his mentor, the tom trailed after her towards the medicine cat's den, locating his sister in the growing crowd and resolving to brush by her as a way to let he know he was safe. Approaching quietly, he made sure to make her aware of his presence, burshing his long gray pelt against her long calico one. For a moment, they made eye contact, not needing words to communicate. Then, the siblings parted and Bearpaw scurried to Wolfheart's side.

☞EAGLEFROST nodded in confirmation of Swiftleap's deduction, also unable to find any scents that may have belonged to other mangy dogs. Now relaxed, the flame colored tom felt the soreness of his slight wounds begin to set in. A small look of discomfort was etched on his face for only a moment before being replaced with a cool mask. Glancing over at the other tom, the warrior began to make his way back to camp at a gentle trot, careful to watch his paw steps as he preferred not to injure himself further. "We'd better hurry. I'm sure Quietstar wants this addressed as soon as possible." Eaglefrost called over his shoulder to Swiftleap before returning his attention to what was in front of him. The large tom carried on the rest of the way in silence, slowing to a walk as the camp reappeared before them. Stalking inside, head lowered and broad shoulders stooped, the tired tom searched for his mate, finding her atop the rock. Remaining at the back of the gathering, he sat heavily on his back legs.

He turned back to Leap and gently pressed the cobwebs to the wound.

Leap opened his eyes to find two cats standing over him, one of which was pressing something against his neck.
He hissed. "Get back!"
Even though he was wounded, he'd fight if he had to.
His neck throbbed and his vision swam, but he'd put up a tough fight if provoked through fear.

Ashfrost opened his mouth to retort hesitantly when he heard Leap speak. Stepping back he hissed, unsheathing his claws. "Watch it, loner." He growled, quick to jump on the offensive at the cat's harsh tone. Disregarding the tom's fright as a sign of danger.

Quietstar sat down staring down at her clan as they gathered. She gave it a few long moments before she finally spoke "I don't need to tell you all what just happened.. You were all here." she said glancing towards the camp entrance as if she half expected the dog to come charging back in. "We have a stranger here. Once he's taken care of I will be speaking to him." she said her gaze moving back to sweep over her clanmates. "I will be sending out two patrols this morning instead of just one. Along with the usual single hunting patrol. If you'd like to be apart of one of the patrols marking our borders and checking our territory for anymore loners or beasts please let me know." she said. She'd let them volunteer before she'd start deciding for them who was going. She felt it was more fair that way and she was less likely to send out a cat who wasn't prepared for something like this. Her eyes swept over the cats before they rested on Eaglefrost. She wanted to talk to him about her choice in deputy first.. "Once the patrols get back we will have another clan meeting." she said pulling her gaze away from him so she could look at the entire clan. "At that meeting I will be naming our new deputy." she said.

The fluffy brown tom looked over at Eaglefrost, for a moment he considered asking him if he was okay but decided against it. They were most likely feeling the same things after that fight and it would be a waste of breath to confirm that.. Especially when they most likely had a lot to do now. "Most likely." was all he replied with as he followed the other warrior back to camp quietly. Once they made it back to camp he pricked his ears glancing around relief filled his eyes as he noticed no one seemed truly hurt. He slipped away to go sit beside Hawktalon and listen to the meeting.

The calico she-cat nodded "Sounds like a plan." she said offering him a small tense smile. She still felt on edge after the dog had burst in. She didn't feel as safe in camp now knowing that although the dog had been hurt it knew where the camp was.. Was it smart enough to find its way back? She shifted nervously before she nudged him "Lets go." she murmured as she moved over to the gathered cats and sat down in time to hear Quietstar's announcements.
