Blossomheart layed in the warriors den not wanting to get up the rogue attack really took a tol on her. All the cats that died.. and her parents. The ginger and white tabby she cat looked out with her soft gaze. She wanted things back to how they where. She had been so upset she skipped the meeting her heart was heavy with grief somthing she just couldnt shake off. After a moment she got up and made her way outside the den and looked around it seemed they some of the clan cats dispersed. Maybe she should to? Go hunting or check around the borders. Skipping breakfast the shecat left camp the smell of echolight and winstar scent hit her nose and the scent of there fallen friend, the novle deputy. She felt the stinging pain hit her chest again and she hurried out.

He nodded. He padded straight towards the supply and looked in each crack in the wall. The herbs were neatly placed in them. He looked at a few bright gold flowers in one. Only two were left. He he thought for a moment until he thought of marigold.
We use marigold way to often. He also saw one very ragged dark green herb. Coltsfoot. He padded up to Honeysong. "I'm going to fetch some more marigold and coltsfoot. Should I also bring some more cobwebs?"

She sighed and slumped back down. She didn't feel like eating, since her mentor wasn't here, she wouldn't be able to do any apprentice work. She was excited last night, now it felt like she was a kit all over again. She waited moons for this. She suddenly saw Willowpaw in the apprentice's den. She padded up to him, "Morning, Willowpaw!"

Litchpaw continuously pracrice and tried hard with her attempts of fishinng, and most of the time she would miss her strikes where so fast it literally just pushed the fosh away scared the others, Litchpaw was better at catching things like birds and rabbits, the quicker things. But mistclan well where natrual born fishers but that was the thing... she wasnt born into mistclan, she was a stray taken in, who knows where her roots lay, maybe her parents where kittypets or city cats or rogues.. a little anger welled up inside her.. Why didnt my family want me? Are my roots connected to the type that brought this clan so much despair.. maybe they wont want me around... how does windstar feel about me really being his apprentice? she left out a soft sigh and abandoned her attempts at fishing and began to go off and do what she was good at... but to do that.. she had to cross the water. Paddling in the young apprentice began to move out towards the larger land mass, she had to admit the water made her really nervous..

Windstar watched as his deputy left through the plants which have grown over the graves of the former clan cats. He immediately felt disgusted at the weakness of the young pale colored she-cat. He almost deducted that Echolight would leave the clan camp in order to find peace within herself. That's what he always did before he became a deputy but he would not tolerate that kind of behavior."She-cats. Almost all of them have the need to be appreciated. She will just have to harden herself in order to be a true deputy and leader." Windstar thought before muttering a silent prayer for Stormfall. He left the field of the dead and went back to the clan camp. The leader watched over the silent dens for a while before heading into his own.

He woke up early in the dawn of the next day and stepped outside the leader den, welcoming the light of the morning sun. It was almost time for the dawn patrol and he knew that the cats he had mentioned the last gathering should be assembling in the center of the clan camp. If he remembered well, they would be Slivermoon, Willowpaw and Moorheart. Windstar would allow his apprentice to sleep for a little more since the training for the day would be quite tiring.

Moorheart was one of the first warriors to wake up the following morning. He was glad to not have participated in the moonhigh patrol, since his watch over the border of the camp almost exhausted him to death. The first thing he did was to look for Eelstrike,
the oldest warrior in the whole clan aside from Lindenfur, who was an elder. The younger warrior appreciated Eelstrike's way of viewing things. Unlike other seniors of his age, he was relaxed but serious, responsible but carefree. It was something he couldn't clearly describe, but he quickly forgot about his thoughts as he remembered that he was part of the dawn patrol that day. He exited the warriors den and waited for Willowpaw and Slivermoon to appear.

After waking with a start Ivypaw looked around, her heart racing. Letting out a calming breath the calico shook out her thick fur, and padded out of the apprentices den, nodding to Willowpaw and the newly apprenticed Birdpaw as she left. Once out-side the den she stretched, and let out a yawn before glancing at Windstar with a sigh.

Ashfang was thankful that he wasn't in the dawn patrol, but had gotten up at dawn anyway. The big tabby let his gaze wander around camp, looking for Ivypaw and Mintblaze. They where the only family he had left, and he frowned when he saw Ivypaw was awake but not Mintblaze. His tail lashed, before he stomped over to the prey pile to eat,

The two Felines, Eelstrike and Mintblaze had yet to return to camp. As after they had finished their patrols, the two had gotten some hunting done. Though Mintblaze had fallen asleep after laying down to rest for a few moments. Now her blue eyes snapped open, groaning softly, realizing that she wasn't in the warm warriors den. After taking in her surroundings the lass huffed, and looked at the pieces of prey she had caught. A rabbit and a couple of mice. Mintblaze's gaze turned to Eelstrike who seemed to be already awake. "Morning, sorry for falling asleep on you."

Eelstrike had chuckled when he had noticed Mintblaze fall asleep on him, and had decided to let her sleep while he did some more hunting. At the time had some rotten luck and only managed to score a carp. Though thankfully after a short rest he had managed to take down a vole and a pheasant. His whiskers twitched as Mintblaze awoke, he was quiet while the she-cat gained her Barings, and after she spoke, he mewed," It's fine. It gave me time to do some more hunting. Let's just get back to camp. I have an apprentice to train and I'm sure you need some more sleep."

blossomheart after checking over the border which she did to pass time was heading back to camp. On her way she ran into eelstrike and mintblaze. "Eelstrike, Mintblaze" the shecat dipped her head to her clanmates, despite the grief that hanged there in her voice her voice was still just as warm as ever, tinged with a never changing friendlyness. "I reckon ypur hunt went well?" She teased. She could clearly tell one of them had just woken from a nap. After her greeting she figured she should get back to the camp and see to what ever else needed to be done. There was alot of healing that need to be done with in her clan, while she hoped everyones heart would recover smoothley of there loss she didnt want them to forget to soo .

Litchpaw dripped with lake water, drenched to the skin. She headed towards windstar carring 2 rabbits that was also drenched. She had tried over and over again to fish but ahe just was not a fisher now and then she qould get lucky but quicker land animal or birds where more her thing. She had left the safety of the island and swam to the other side where she knew rabbits where plenty she had origonanly caught 3 but she lost one in the water on the swim back. There was no way to retrieve it or she would of risked drowning. Behind her she could hear Eelstrike and mintblaze returning from where ever they where. Now on her mind she is still amazed as to why windstar didnt pick eelstrike he was the obvious choice after all. Maybe she would ask him... finally reaching her leaders den once more she dropped the two hares and peeked her head in to look for her leader, her mentor windstar. "Windstar you here?" She spoke as she scanned his den her gaze quickly finding him despite the darkness of his den.

Windstar watched as the clan camp was slowly becoming more full with life and activity. Some of the apprentices were already out, and the tom watched as some of them wandered about as they searched for their mentors. But he soon became a little more worried when he realized that Litchpaw was not among any of them. He checked quickly inside the small cave only to find two or three more apprentices snoring in their beddings. Just as he was about to search the other dens, he noticed a dark figure lurking inside his den.. only to realize that it was Litchpaw. It seemed he just returned from hunting at the lake. "Litchpaw,where on Starclan have you been? And why are you so wet? Come inside, quickly." Windstar snapped before entering the den.

She watched as Windstar's apprentice approached him, and the calico sighed before trotting over to her older cousin. "Mind if I join you?" She tilted her head, her amber eyes shinning. Though she couldn't wait to do some training with her mentor, she needed to eat.

Ashfang had been about to pick out a skinny mouse when Ivypaw approached and spoke. He grunted a soft yes, before picking up a rabbit instead. He motioned over to a sunny spot in camp, and started over, smiling softly as he noticed Ivypaw at his heals. Once there the tom laid down, and motioned for Ivypaw to take the first bite.

Mintblaze was about to reply to the older tom when Blossomheart approached and spoke. The Smokey she-cat glared at the younger she-cat, before shyly mewing," Maybe..." Her ears flattened onto head, partly in shame and partly in embarrassment. The blue eyed she-cat huffed then got to her paws and mewed," I'm going back to camp." She then picked up her catches and bolted back to camp.

Well that one's cranky in the morning. The older tom kept his face blank and unreadable as he watched the two felines interact. Only his ear twitched in sign that the tom was listening, and he watched silently as Mintblaze left. A brow rose before he snorted and mewed," Morning, Blossomheart. How are you, this fine morning?"

Litchpaw shook once more before following windstar back inside. Her ears flattened for a moment as he scolded her before perking up again. "Listen windstar, no matter how hard i try... im just not a fisher.." she seemed to choke on words as she finished her sentence as if what she was going to say next made her feel ashamed. I know i wasnt born in this clan.. just a stray kit you and your clan took in.. who knows maybe i have some clan blood from somewhere else in me or maybe im from kittypets or barn cats somewhere... maybe ... maybe i was once from those group of rogues" she choked the last words out her ears flat and her emerald gaze looking to the ground. She felt it ever since stormfalls death she felt some of her clanmates look at her differently. But she wasnt to surprised. She didnt grieve like they did as she wasnt close to anyone in particular in the clan.. "but.. iv been a mistclan cat since the day i was taken in and it was obviously apart of some fate that i didnt live where my roots are.. i probably would have not been cut out for that life.. im greatful for you and this clan.. and i swear on this day forwars ipl be the beat apprentice youve had and will become one of the best warriors!" She vowed her words becoming stronger her tone more confident there was a fire in her enerald gaze. "And i will tare down anyone who dare to threaten my clanmates. I will protect everyone with my life" she said as if going over vows all over again. She nudged over two rabbits. "I caight this on the other side of the lake.. there was one more but i lost it on the swim back.." she admited.

blossomheart watched mintblaze leave. Her tail twiched in annoyence did i do somthing weongn... perhaps did i interupt somthing? the ginger and white tabby wondered to herself. "Sorry i interupted your guys chat.. goodmorning to you to" the younger shecat dipped her head to the older warrior infron of her. She searched his unreadable gaze for a moment as she wondered how he felt about windstars choice in deputy. She was all to aware eelstrike was her leaders first choice but he had not picked him for what ever reason. But she knew Echolight was capable.. or so she hoped anyways. "How are you she asked making a motioning step towards camping hoping to continue to head back..

Mintblaze snorted as she made it back into camp, her tail lashing irritably. She was both annoyed and embarrassed, with well everything. The lass dropped her catches on the prey pile before looking over at her younger cousin's before snorting. Her blue eyes sparked dangerously before she walked over to the warriors den and into her nest.

Eelstrike shrugged and mewed," It's fine. Ignore her, either she's just cranky in the mornings." He paused then added," She was caught sleeping on the job." After giving a eye roll the tabby tom, picked up his catch and mewed," Purdy good, considering." He glanced at the she-cat and his tail flicking from side to side. The bi-colored tom rolled his shoulders then padded after the lass.
