Thrushpaw was sitting on a flat rock in the middle of camp, grooming her short fur and cherishing the sunlight. She gave one final stroke of her tongue and rested her head on her paws, closing her eyes. She gaped her jaws in a yawn, stretching her toes and limbs with a smile.

Stumpyflower

Stumpyflower grunted, sweeping her tail around the withered herb pile. Wasted herbs, by some careless kit coming in here, no doubt. She gave it one final sniff, finding a couple salvageable juniper berries before shoving the pile into dirtplace outside. She pushed it into an outer border, so no clueless kitten would try to eat it because of the sweetish scent of catmint inside. Stumpyflower exited dirtplace and padded toward the fresh-kill pile, where she fished out a plump mouse for herself. She paused and surveyed the camp, watching [whoever] leave the camp. She figured he had gone to hunt, since typically there was more than one cat going to patrol borders.

Cloudedeye

Cloudedeye flicked her friend's flank with her tail in a joking manner when she heard her talk about being a killjoy. Perhaps she was sometimes, but she did know that, most of the time, she was right.

"Really?" Poofkit breathed, her eyes wide. "How?" She glanced at her mother again, studying her. She did look pretty boring.

Tuftkit

"I AM STRONG!" Tuftkit hurtled towards the fresh-kill pile and leapt inside, hiding in the bottom. He giggled, peering out at Puddlejump.

Fang

Fang shoved his sister into the den, throwing his meat slab on the ground. He stalked forward and snarled, "Who are you and why are you here?" He tried his best to sound menacing, like an adult cat, but it was obvious in his voice that he was merely a kitten.

Piper grunted as she fell on her haunches in the den. With one last glance at Sprinkle, she charged out of the den, past Fang and towards Sorrowstep. Accidentally, she hurtled into the she-cat and squeaked with alarm. "Eep!" she squealed, scurrying backwards, towards the bushes.

Eaglestar purred loudly as he greeted his deputy and apprentice. He chuckled and nudged Foxshade gently before pawing at his ears. He grinned "Oh i've missed you both so much.. It took far too long to get back." he said shaking his head slightly. A wistful look in his eyes "It was a long journey, the flood took me far from this place. I've spent almost the entire time just walking back here." he said.

Puddlejump chuckled and trotted over to the fresh kill pile. "Oh yeah?" He said flicking his tail. "Why don't you show me how strong you are?" He said batting some of the prey away from the kit. "I bet if you can beat me up Foxshade will have to recognize that." He said.

Sorrowstep pricked her ears looking down at Piper surprised before she watched her run off. She stood still not wanting to scare them more before she turned her attention towards Fang. "My name is Sorrowstep." She replied "I'm from MysticalClan, we live not far from here. Who are you?" She asked making sure to keep her voice even and not sound like she was patronizing the kits. She glanced around looking for a loner she-cat to appear at any moment and try to claw her face off.

Rainysplash nodded then stood up "Do you want to go ask Thrushpaw then?" She asked. "And I can go ask Brindleclaw?" She offered before she glanced towards Brindleclaw then back at Cometshadow a small smile upon her face. "Then we could probably get going." She said.

Fang decided he wouldn't tell the foreign she-cat about Sprinkle; the fluffy white tom could not fight, so he would be trapped inside the den should more cats from this 'Mysticalclan' come by. "What do you want? We're not hurting anyone by being here." He shook his body to hopefully fluff his fur up, hiding is protruding ribs.

Sorrowstep frowned slightly "Where is your Mother?" she asked as her attention turned towards Piper's ribs. "When was the last time you had a warm meal?" she asked. She seemed unconcerned about answering Fang's questions or explaining more about her clan. She was more focused on how concerned she was that there didn't seem to be anyone out here taking care of these kits. How'd they get there? Who wasn't feeding them enough??

Stormyskies wasn't known to socialize a whole lot, he'd grown up very close to his sister Rainysplash who was the more outgoing of the two. So their entire lives he'd relied on her to start every conversation for him. And though he was trying his best to get out of that. He was very nervous to be talking to Hollyeyes, she seemed like such an amazing warrior who had everything figured out for herself. He moved to her side "Do you need me to carry anything?" he asked.

Moonpaw thought quietly about it before nodding,"I-I guess I could stay for a little bit......" She shyly replied before carefully moving to lay down next to the Quailfeather.

Wildkit was nearly asleep as she quietly sucked, snuggling between Honeykit's fur and Quailfeather's pelt for warmth. She was a little smaller then her littermate, with her blue tainted gray fur and white paws, chest and muzzle.

Tuftkit crouched low to the ground, waggling his haunches. He leapt onto the bigger tom, his limbs flailing. He curled his claws around a tuft of fur and hung on, sinking his teeth into his chest. "I win!"

Piper found herself tearing up as she looked at the older she-cat - she looked a lot like their mother. Bitterly, Piper turned away, digging her claws into the dirt. Sweetpea was dead.

The she-cat tittered with her good mood. While there may have been a grain of truth in her remark, she’d never truly slight her friend for being who she was. In fact, it was Cloudedeye’s wary nature that provided valuable insight, ultimately balancing out the hyperactive Mooncatcher. Smiling widely she continued without missing a beat. “I say we pounce on her and show her whose boss~”

Brindleclaw was laying in the middle of the camp as she was waiting for a patrol she could jump in. Her brother and she didn't really agree on a lot so it was hard for her to be in the same group nowadays. She soon shook her head as she looked down at her paw. Her tail flicked around as she lets out a small yawn.

Moonpaw slowly looked at Quailfeather,"Y-Yeah......?" She urged to queen to go on.

Wildkit eventually fell fast asleep, curled up close to Honeykit.

Puddlejump looked down at Tuftkit and snorted. Thanks to his fluffy fur all he could feel was a bit of tugging at his fur, not that he really minded however. "Yeah you win this time.. But you better get ready for when Foxshade comes back. Then you'll have to show him all over again." he said before he purred slightly. "I'd suggest you hide like you did in the prey pile and run out when he least expects it. Then he'll be really impressed by your skills." he said.

Sorrowstep pinned her ears, how long had they been out here alone..? "This is MysticalClan territory." she said finally. "I was out on a patrol when I caught your scent. So I came to investigate." she explained. "I don't think you're hurting anyone of course but I think you should come with me." she insisted softly "We can give you shelter.. Food.. protection.. You wouldn't have to stay out here.. Have you had anything fresh? I can catch you something?" she offered, trying her best to mask how nervous she felt.
