He gived a small smile to the white tom "very good actually" he meowed flicking his tail. Turning his head toward the den entrance where the warm wind pushed into the den "so do you have anything in mind?" he meowed silently. He wanted to go out, but remembered how the medicine cat was warned him to not go alone, excpecially too far f rom the camp. Thought he was already done so and he was getting better to do thinks even thought he was blind.

She Looked back at her, before walked out of the camp, walking toward the river, which was almost at the borders. Stopping next with some trees she turned to Starlingpaw "You could go to see your mentor now, I and Bramblepaw go to the field to try our hunting luck" she meowed smilling, flicking her tail to Bramblepaw to follow.

He stopped behing his mother and Bramblepaw. He looked at the river which showed behing the bushes. Giving a quick nod he run toward the river trying to see if his mentor was there or not, and he was "Darkpelt? I come to find you?" he meowed stopping next to the black senior warrior "So did you have time to speak with Fernstar?" he meowed, knowing how stupid his question was, but he was heared that starclan cats can eventually speak with still alive cats, thought he don't know how.

"oh, sorry, starlingpaw... i thought you were still asleep. " he mewed, turning to the apprentice. "i could sense her... though we didn't talk." he said, saddened. he had realised that starlingpaw would probably keep on accepting that darkpelt spent every moment of free time he had and which he hadn't got by the river, vainly hoping he'd see fernstar again a long time ago, though still did little about it. "i was thinking we could do some more hunting today."

the fae crouched on a large flat rock in the middle of the basking clearing. she and cloverstar were deep in conversation, talking about their clan's future. "they'll be fine," cloverstar reassured her old successor from where she lay in the sun-soaked grass. "they're a strong bunch of cats, and they have an excellent leader." the past leader's grey speckled fur rose and fell gently as she relaxed in the clearing. "yes but.. snakemint is worried that bluestar will feel stressed without puddlestar - i mean puddleheart's support." fernstar fretted, her ears drooping slightly as she named her old companion by his warrior name. "yes but i'm sure leopardstar will help out. stoneclan and cloverclan have always been allies." the she-cat mewed, her dark green eyes opened and she added. "but i'm a little unsure about the new clan.. if i'm honest."

"come on you three, try and keep up with me!" sparrowflight giggled, haring off into the forest as soon as he was out of camp, heading straight for the training clearing with his tail streaming behind him.

"of course we can, can you remember where the thyme is?" the brute enquired, shaking his grey and white fur before licking down the stray tufts. goldenpaw would receive his medicine cat name at the next half-moon, as threeleg thought he was ready to become a full medicine cat. until that time came, the tom wanted to test his apprentice at every opportunity, springing questions upon him at seemingly the worst times.

the large white brute shook his fluffy white head. "no, i had nothing in mind, why?" the former willowclan warrior groomed the rest of his long snowy fur, making sure he looked presentable before leaving the den. whiterain knew that some cats still doubted his loyalty, but he never let it get to him. if willowclan did ever come back, of course he would go back home. but that was impossible, and even starclan knew that.

"yes, leafbare is never particularly kind." the she-cat agreed, helping her mate groom his fur by flattening some messy tufts on his side. the small fae knew how much the leader liked to look perfect before he left his den. juniperfrost raised her head as she heard voices outside, and quickly recognised them to belong to her kits: bouncepaw and firepaw. a quiet purr rumbled in her throat as she heard them leave the camp with their mentors, and turned her attention back to bluestar and continued to groom his ruffled pelt.

"why wouldn't bramblewhisker be proud of us? we're the best apprentices in the clan! you saw me catch two mice yesterday while hunting!" the brown fae chirped, trotting out of the camp and stumbling slightly as sparrowflight raced through the trees. "he's the most kit-like warrior i've ever met!" bouncepaw giggled as she dashed away after him without asking for her own mentor's approval. she sped through the undergrowth, easily slipping through clumps of bracken and bramble thickets thanks to her small size.

the golden tabby purred happily, tearing her gaze from the trees as she heard yellowpaw's mew greeting her as the golden she cat came running towards the tree with rainpaw and dewpaw behind her. "hello girls! i caught us a nice fat hare so you three can have first dibs." morningdawn purred, watching her daughters dig into the prey hungrily. she hoped tigerfang missed his family, and somewhat regretted what he'd done.

He hadn't yet dcided who he would send out but thought he would find some cats that looked free.

Dustpelts flank moved slowly as he slept. He had by now adapted to his new body very well and didn't even think about him being diffrent much anymore. It happend that he sometimes dreamed back to being "normal" but it never weighed him down too much. He was happy for his two best friends who were now mates. He often wondered if he would be able to get one in the future.

Sorrelcress purred, her heart light as her blue gaze landed on her brother. It had been a moon since he arrived on Cloverclan's territory, but she still couldn't believe that he was actually alive. She spotted the scars spanning across his shoulder and back, making canyons across his pelt, and a sickening thought hit her. He almost wasn't. I should have stayed.. looked longer for him. Shouldn't have given up on him... I'm sorry, Sagebird...

Sagebird was asleep in his nest, which was right next to Sorrelcress's. His scarred flank rose and fell gently as he breathed. He didn't dream; Sagebird hadn't dreamt for a long time. Not since he left Frozenbreeze in Stoneclan. She had been his companion for a good while; his best friend. And... funnily enough, he missed the friendly shecat.

Littlemoth trotted through the territory, enjoying the morning scents. He had gone out to do a bit of hunting, but also for alone time. Mornings were often hard on Littlemoth; during his moons of traveling, he had gotten used to seeing Softmist's bright smile whenever he woke. And now, he would never see it again. He sighed, spotting a patch of lavender bordering a clump of clover. "Oh, Softmist... you would have loved it so much here..." Nostalgia prodded the tom to pick some of the purple flowers, but he knew it would just make his heart ache more. Softmist had carried the scent of lavender. Before he could be overwhelmed by emotion, Littlemoth turned around and headed in a different direction.

The apprentice frowned as the distinct shades of Orange, Black, and Sepia faded from her mind. She 'humphed' impudently at the entrance of camp, a haughty glare plastered across her muzzle. 'Course they leave me behind. Fine, I'll see if Juniperfrost needs anything." Wavepaw mewed to herself, standing and shaking out her chocolate pointed pelt. She trotted out of the apprentice's den, her pale blue gaze scanning the clearing for the twin azure colors signifying her mentor and her mate. It seemed they were always together nowadays.

She stopped to little hill, which leaded to the open field. The place was kind of dangerous, but good place to find lots of healty and large preys. She glanced at the sky for any big birds like hawks, but so far she didn't see anything "Say Bramblepaw, do you scent any mices or voles at there?" she meowed turning to her.

"stormclan?" the old leader meowed. she knew better than any cat that cloverstar never took too kindly to strangers. "they were hungry and lost, me and puddlestar agreed to let them take willowclan's territory as we would have expected the same." fernstar explained, not even flinching as the grey speckled she cat in front of her sat bolt upright, dark green eyes narrowed slightly. "and nobody dared go to willowclan to find out what really happened to them? those apprentices had more courage than cloverclan and stoneclan combined!" fernstar sat up from where she crouched on the stone, tone calm as she addressed her leader. "what were we supposed to do? send cats into territory without knowing what they would find, while there were still foxes roaming the place?" the tabby challenged, scratching behind her ear as she continued. "anyways, whiterain and rosedust told us that they don't know what happened as they were both out of camp. and since it was enough to separate a whole clan, it must have been dangerous."

once satisfied with his fur, he exited the den with deadgaze following closely behind him. "sure, the sun is out pretty early today so there should be lots of prey." the large brute meowed, thankful for something to do. "maybe we can take our apprentices with us. i can find silverpaw and perhaps you could find ashpaw? or we could do the border patrol with another warrior.." whiterain suggested, glancing around the clover-filled clearing to find his blue-grey coloured apprentice.

"wavepaw!" the warrior called as she spotted her apprentice and trotted over. "good to see your awake bright and early! bluestar wants us to join him on a hunting patrol, if you're up to it."
