It'd been a while since the tom had risen from his den. The dawn was of his favorite things. There wasn't anything quite like a morning stroll to warm his pelt. The fiery tom wandered aimlessly without a patrol, enjoying solitude for a while. He loved his clan, but nature was his one true companion. His jaws parted with a crooked yawn, giving his head a brief shake as he quickened his pace, tail flicking happily as he padded along. He may not have noticed a duo of tom cats, had he not caught a flicker of white fur. Straightening himself, Firebounce immediately became wary. Who were these cats? - furthermore, why were they so close to Moonclan territory? He glanced over his shoulder, narrowing his eyes. If a patrol found them, they wouldn't greet them with much friendliness. Sighing, the orange tom puffed out his chest and began to cautiously approach. "Hey!" He called sternly. "What are you doing so close to Moonclan borders?"

the black and white she-cat sat in the center of camp, licking her paw absent-mindedly. she hadn't much to do, nor was she very hungry. the tuxedo cat craned her head around as she observed a pair of cats sharing tongues. she blinked. such an odd custom of clan cats - her mother never taught her to do anything such as that. admittedly, it was rather nice, but not many cats sought to groom her - not that she blamed them. windflight rolled her paw over her face. she supposed she'd stick to grooming herself.

Meeko shook his head after hitting Mizuno in the back. He looked up at the stranger, then watched Mizuno's mouth to see if he would read what he was saying. He couldn't quite get it, so he assumed he was greeting them. He looked at the stranger, smiling wide.

Mizuno glanced over at the cat who called out to them. He stopped in his tracks, feeling Meeko run into him from behind. He glanced at his brother, nodding towards the clan cat. He looked at the stranger, narrowing his eyes. "We're not in your territory that you've stolen, we were just walking around." He scorned, the hair along his neck standing straight up.

these cats obviously had different manners of action. tilting his head, the orange tabby drew closer, his fur remaining still and flat. he carried a friendly demeanor, as he didn't exactly wish to cause any trouble. "I don't mean to pry," Firebounce told them softly. "I was only curious." He glanced to the other cat, who seemed a little more friendly than the bristling tom. He grinned, dipping his head to him with a gentle swish of his tail.

the she-cat, finished with her bath, leapt to her feet and padded on. she left the camp, wandering aimlessly in search of a mouse. she didn't really care to join hunting parties. they made things too noisy. coming close to the borders, windflight caught a scent. she followed it, until it took her to a she-cat. she stopped dead, staring at the cat with her tail raised high.

Meeko dipped his head back to the orange tom, his smile remaining despite his realization of Mizuno's tension. This cat smelled like a clan cat, something that had always interested her. He mouthed a hello to him, his smile growing.

Mizuno didn't trust this cat. Well, he didn't trust anyone really. He honestly hated almost every cat he laid eyes on... When he took into account Meeko's friendliness, the dark tom eased back. "Well, we weren't going to even step on your... territory, so no worries there..." He flicked his tail, still slightly irritated. "I'm Mizuno, he's Meeko." He greeted out of polite habit.

the orange tom's tail flicked with realization. meeko could not speak; he was etiher deaf, or mute. regardless the tom returned the gesture with his own purr, his ears swiveling back a little. as mizuno continued, he rolled his amber eyes back to the waiting cat. they smelled of the same scent, with a varying degree. they must be brothers. "No trouble," firebounce said kindly. he glanced over his shoulder. "have you walked these parts of the forest, or are you passing through?" firebounce asked, simply curious.

whiteheart smiled as sandtail accepted his request. "thank you." he said and padded off to look around camp for cats to send out on border patrols. he spotted thistleheart and smiled, walking towards her. "morning, thistleheart." he said with a smile. "would you mind leading a border patrol? you can take anyone you'd like with you." he requested kindly and waited for the she-cats response.

poppypaw smiled at the she-cat and flicked her tail. "ok! good," she chimed and glanced over her shoulder at sandtail padding towards the entrance. the small she-cat looked back at rainpaw and gave her a little nod. "lets head over to them." she said and started towards the entrance, glancing behind her to see if rainpaw was following her. she stopped in front of sandtail and looked up at him. "ready to go?" she asked, a little excited to go patrolling.

he yawned as he left the den, a bit of moss stuck on the bottom of his tail. he sat down and looked around the camp groggily, glancing towards the leader and deputy but quickly looking away. in all honesty foxleap was never quite fond of the deputy, nor did he have a desire to be the deputy. he liked where he was as a warrior, he was fine with his duties and fine with being a mentor but wanted nothing more than that, or he felt like it may be too much work. he curled his tail over his white paws and licked the little piece of moss off of his tail with a tired glare.

eden sighed as she jumped down from a fence post after snooping in a two-legs territory. frankly, the she-cat was bored. she felt like she had nothing to do, and desperately wanted someone to talk to. she of course knew there was a clan nearby but didn't feel like being chased around or hurt by any clan cats today. the fluffy she-cat swayed her tail impatiently as she padded around the territory looking for something to entertain herself with, treading a ways away from her own den that she had made. she had called it home for the past few moons and found it quite comfortable, even though it was a old log.

Tom. Twenty-five moons. Tagged; Moonrose

"Oh don't be so rude Moonrose. You know you love when I groom your pelt." Pulling his head away from his own pelt, the tom chuckled. He watched as the shecat came closer to him. "See!" With a smile, Shellsplash began to groom Moonrose fur down straight. He began to purr after a while. Shellsplash felt at him with Moonrose; he was almost as close to her as he was with his own brother. "How are the patrols going?"

Sandtail

Tom. Twenty-five moons. Tagged; Poppypaw, Fleetstep, Rainpaw

Sandtail observed the two apprentices as they approached the entrance. "I believe we're both ready, right Fleetstep?" Standing to his paws, he spoke before pacing himself rather slowly out the entrance. Once they were outside of the camp, he began to pick up his speed. "We'll head towards the old tree and see if we can find anything on the way. If not, then when we reach the tree there should be plenty of prey." He called out back towards the others before parting his maw to take in the scents of the forest. "Rainpaw, Poppypaw, can you guys scent anything?" Sandtail figured it would be good for the apprentices to show their progress while out hunting. Continuing down the path towards the best hunting spot within the territory, the tom waited to see if the the apprentices could catch any scents.

Ryepaw gazed at windflight and narrowed her eyes. She lifted her ears high and padded quickly over to follow her. As ryepaw padded she shook her pelt almost tipping over as did so. "Hey windflight! What are you looking at?" she asked tilting her head to the side once she stopped by windflight's side.

Rainpaw | She-Cat | Apprentice | Sandtail, Poppypaw, Fleetstep
Rainpaw drew in the scents around here. Immediately she could smell the forest filled with MoonClan scent and she could smell the cats with her. Trying to search past that, Rainpaw tried to scent anything else. She scented the faint smell of prey but that was it. "I can only smell a faint prey scent" Rainpaw admitted.
