Midnight nodded at Kalika, "Alright then," he said. Motioning her to follow, Midnight picked up the pace from where he was at the moment. The eagles from the large mountains swooped down screeching loudly like they always do. He laughed on the inside, and wanted to chase them, like he did when he was still a small pup. Of course he was too mature now to do so. He was stronger. He was bigger. He was their leader.

Kalika padded after Midnight, her ears perked up, paying extra attention to the noises of her surroundings and the scuffling of prey. She watched the eagles above, and a sort of peaceful serenity washed over her. She wished that she could stay forever in this state, but she knew reality was much more harsher and cruel. Winter was approaching closer, and by then, most of the prey would all be gone and safe in their warm hideouts.

Sura quickly opened her eyes and scanned the cave. The 5 pups were still asleep, so she padded out of her den and scanned the outside. There were sounds of snoring coming from the cave next to her. Sura decided to trot over to the River, their only supply of fresh, cool water. She would have to be back soon - or the pups would go crazy.

-Wolfie woke up from in his small hole. It was like a underground ditch: Sort of like a ground hog, or a merkat. He yawned, and looked around. He spotted something small: A young deer. It must have been seperated from it's mother. Wolfie got up, and began to stalk it. His incredible speed made up for his poor stalking skills. He was always spotted, as today. The calf began running fast, but Wolfie was faster. After killing it swiftly, he began to pad into camp, prey in his mouth. He never ever slept in camp.-

-Autumn got up in her nest, and yawned. She poked her head out of her den, wondering what she should do.-
Hey old man, rest your head, you're breaking down inside
Armour's cracked
Set to collapse
Somewhere all my darkest fears are gathering
It is not enough

-He dropped the deer on the ground, then decided to turn around. Now, he wanted to hunt for himself. It was rare he caught another piece of prey for himself, but it was handy whenever he did. He spotted Kalika and Midnight hunting, so he watched, hoping their prey wouldn't spot him. His white pelt was usually visable from prey.-

As Lusa padded on, her ears caught something out of beat with the rest of the world. She crouched low and made a nervous yawn, which was followed by her tongue dangling out of her mouth to the ground below. She moved carefully, maneuvering her paws away from the fallen, crunchy leaves, until she was in sight of a sickly elk. It had its head low and pointed away from her, but the wind was blowing in the wrong direction for her to make a good surprise attack. She would have to rely on speed to make the kill. Sadly, speed was not her strong point.

Her energy building up, Roya padded out of the camp and loped off through the woods. She could barely hear her own footsteps as she raced through the brush. She caught scent of Lusa and slowed to a walked as she stepped up behind her. Following her gaze, she noticed Lusa was after an elk. "Would you like some help?" Roya whispered into Lusa's ear, although the sound was almost inaudible.
