Vee ran into the meeting she was supposed to go to. "Am I late?" She asked.

"More Junior Expedition Society Members? Well, today's your lucky day. I'm here to pick out recruits for the official Expedition Society!"

"Its a downfall for me that they don't allow kids." Vee muttered.

"Actually, Ampharos revoked that rule. It's null and void."

Fenne's ears perked up. Junior Expedition Society? Her tail wagged, and she tried not to start jumping around.

"Good." Irritating thought Vee about Fenne but didn't say it out loud.

"Allow me to introduce myself" he takes a dramatic pose and says "I'm Caelan, I go on expeditions in extremely hot dungeons. This recent hot weather can't keep me down!"

He dropped a bag of P at the counter, taking the two apples from Kecleon. "Thanks," he said, walking off. He munched on an apple, tucking the other one in his adventure satchel. He headed towards the Expedition HQ.

A female Vulpix came trotting by the group (with Caelan) and said softly, "Oh, hello! New to the place?" The Vulpix then asked Caelan, taking him aside for a moment, as if she knew the Charmeleon well (which she did), "Hey, Caelan, did you take a look at the taskboard today? Or want me to?" This was Emmie, Caelan's partner-in-exploration.
