Rushwing ears perked at the sound of another cat. The tom shook himself awake. "Yes?" He asked, noticing the cat was Willowpelt.

"We need you for the dawn patrol.", she meowed, ears flicking. It was always embarrassing to have to wake up cats just for dawn patrols. "You don't mind, do you?", she questioned, her body getting inside the den more. Her tail poked out of the den.

Rushwing let out a mental sigh. It seemed he couldn't get out of the dawn patrol today. "I might as well do it, since I'm already awake." The tom said before meeting Willowpelt at the entrace. "Who else is going?" He asked out of curiosity.

Applesong pulled Whitepaw's head up so the apprentice could look her in the eye. "That's nothing to be ashamed of. Young love is always beautiful." She said to her. Applesong wondered what could make Whitepaw so afraid to tell her that.

The female flinched under Applesong's touch, surprised that she accepted. Her gaze clouded with confusion. "Y-you accept m-me?" She asks, not believing her ears.

Willowpelt stepped back, exiting the warrior's den. "Well, Sunpaw, Whitepaw, Tigerpaw, Wolfclaw, and Applesong! Oh, also you!", she meowed informatively. "We are going to the golden planes, maybe we will catch bunnies or rabbits!" Her claws left little holes in the dirt. Willowpelt enjoyed hunting. The excitement, speed and skill required, and it also helped the clan. "Sunpaw, Tigerpaw, Whitepaw, Applesong, Rushwing, and Wolfclaw! We are heading out for the dawn patrol!", she yowled, heading out to the exit.

The male leaped to his paws. He says a quick goodbye to Crowstar before running after Willowpelt.

~Tigerpaw~

He smiles happily then trotted to Willowpelt's side, his eyes showed excitement. 'I will catch the most rabbits!' he thought to himself, grinning.

~Whitepaw~

Her ears flick at the sound of her name. "Gotta go.." She says before padding towards the rest of the patrol, joining them. She took her place beside Tigerpaw, her tail lightly dragging against the ground behind her.

Willowpelt slowed herself down next to Wolfclaw so her pelt could brush against his. It made her feel safe. Willowpelt halted once she was out of camp, her head held high as she sniffed the air, looking down at the golden planes. There seemed to be no danger lurking there. She wait for the rest of her dawn patrol to catch up. The fresh wheat and barley scent flew up the hill, a cozy feeling warming her inside. "We could go to the border and remark it, possibly catching some prey on the way.", she meowed, her eyes focused on the golden plains.
