I lay back down. "Well..... I guess not." I meow some what hesitantly. I pluck a few more feathers, spitting then to the side. I bend to take another bite, noticing a feather lingering on my nose. I struggle to blow it off, failing miserably. And in sure I look like a mouse-brain.

Sunkit: She was dreaming happily, until she went into the forest alone, without Riverfrost her mother, then her dream turned into a nightmare as a Fox sprung on her and attacked, she started to mewl scared and worried in her sleep.

Riverfrost: She immediately woke up from her nap as she heard her kit mewling, she nudged Sunkit awake, "Are you okay little one?" she asked worried and scared.

Sunkit: She shook her head, "I had a n-nightmare, a f-f-fox attacked m-me..." she replied scared, her fear left when her mother replied, "It's okay Sunkit, their are no foxes here, remember? The warriors will protect us if there is one... Now, why don't you go back to sleep, I'll stay awake and watch okay?" Sunkit nodded feeling better then went back to sleep.

she didn't feel to get up, so instead used her tail to brush it away.
"You know, now that I think about it, I've never really seen you
that much since we've become apprentices. Anything new happen?"

Sunkit: Sunkit woke up a little later, "Mom, can I go and play outside of the nursery?" she asked Riverfrost

Riverfrost: She looked a bit unsure at her kit, she didn't want Sunkit to get hurt but she knew that Sunkit would leave the den sometime, "I suppose... but I have to be with you okay?" Sunkit smiled at her reply, "Okay!" then she ran out of the den, while Riverfrost slowly followed.

Batpaw awoke to the warm sun beaming upon his pelt. Blinking open his turquoise eyes instinctively, it took the blind tom only moments to realize he was late. That late night training has gotten to me a bit more than I intended. Regardless, there is I chance I'll get chosen for this morning's hunting patrol. That would prove a good start to the day, seeing as hunting is my strongest suit. Standing and stretching, the petite ebony tom groomed his velvety pelt until it was decent; then, he exited the den. For a second he stood there, his namesake ears swiveling to detect what was going on. It appeared most of the camp was awake; there were to many warriors in camp for a patrol to be out, and the banter tone was normal. I can train undisturbed.

Immediately, Batpaw made a beeline for the shadowiest part of the camp. My assessment is coming up. Perhaps Sunnygaze will make her choice soon on whom she shall teach- regardless, I cannot rely on that happening. I must prepare for what I know is to come. My weakest suit, by far, is fighting. I doubt anyone will spar with me due to some more... incompatible elements, so I'll sharpen and practice basic fighting form until the patrols are announced; the basics are the determining factor in almost all fights. If I'm chosen for the patrol, I need to catch at least two pieces of prey, or else I will not take any breakfast. Also, gathering herbs would be a bonus- cobwebs are always needed, and horsetail would be excellent. If not chosen... more fighting practice. Perhaps even a spar match against the warriors... if the day goes well. Sitting, the ebony tom placed his claws upon a tree not far from the camp entrance and began to alternate between gently raking his claws down the bark and twisting his wrist, making sure his claws had a good curve and sharp tip. I have less than a moon to prepare. Focus. No slip ups.
