ShadowSky came back from hunting with a plump white rabbit and two mice. She padded over to the fresh kill pile and laid her catch down. She smiled at her catch and at the pile then licked her chest fur.

CloudPaw was laying down on her back by the apprentice's den, bored. She watched the clouds roll by as she listened to the breeze in the trees.

Tawnystar flicked her ear, notcing the two small apprentices, Minnowpaw and Hollypaw, playing around. She smiled, padding over to them. "Hey, you two. Since you're already awake and.. seem active, why don't you do me a favor, after you eat." Tawnystar said quietly. She turned around, slowly making her way over to the fresh-kill pile.

Minnowpaw looked at her and tilted his head. Hollypaw smiled. "A favor, ey? What?" She purred and swished her tail.

"Awesome!"She exclaimed, clearly inspired and amazed by Sabertooth's hunting crouch. "So, are we gonna learn any new battle moves?"She meowed, her whiskers quivering with excitement.

ShadowSky saw CloudPaw and chuckled lightly. She knew the apprentice well because she used to be friends with the apprentice's mother. She padded over and blocked the young she-cats view.

CloudPaw glared at the warrior and sat up. "What?" She snapped. "I was watching the sky!" She growled.

ShadowSky shook her head and rolled her eyes. "Come on, lets go practice since I have no idea where your mentor is." She said and walked off.

CloudPaw smiled and her eyes sparkled with determination. She ran after her mothers friend.

Once they were to the training grounds ShadowSky turned to CloudPaw. "We'll perfect your hunting crouch first." She told the young she.

CloudPaw nodded and got down, her belly low to the ground and her weight balanced. She made sure she was downwind since ShadowSky was upwind. She narrowed her eyes and kept her tail straight.
