Leopardtail shook her head "Foxcloud has to stay, usually just the medicine cat escorts." she said as she looked at Foxcloud

"Right, right," Kestrelclaw murmured. "A'ight, I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be. C'mon." With a deep breath, he clambered into the entrance of the well and slowly began to climb downward.

Leopardtail followed and soon led the way down, as she has been down here many times and knows where to put her paws. "When you get there you have to lay down and place to to front paws into the water. Once you have done that you should be able to see them and you will receive you nine lives and a new name." she explained

Kestrelclaw nodded nervously. "Akay. Wish me luck." It took a little while, but finally he felt his hind paw brush against the hard stone floor of the well and sighed with relief, happy to be able to place all four paws on solid ground again. The pool was easy to spot despite the darkness of the room, thanks to its shimmering blue surface, and he forced himself to calm down as he lay just on the edge of it. Slowly but surely, he dipped one forepaw into the cool, clear water, then the other, and closed his eyes.

Leopardtail laid next to him and put both paws in, she gave a small sigh as the refreshing water soaked through her fur. She slowly closed her eyes and waited for Starclan to come.
