Dustpaw smiled, ''Thank you Echochance,you're very respectful." She said before Echochance had bounded away. She padded in the Apprentice den,and layed down. She rested her head on her paws,and suprisingly she fell asleep.

"Time to shake that sleep from your eyes and rise apprentices!" Said Articpast poking his head inside the den, Frostedtail," He turned his head to look at her, "Nightcling is waiting for you at the river. Dustpaw, you will be practicing fighting today, lets go!" he pulled his head out of the den just as Frostedtail began to stand. "See you later, Nightcling always has surprising training sessions, wonder what he has for me today. Well, have fun fighting our deputy!" She teased.

Dustpaw awoke,fluttering her eyes open. The warmth and coziness of her nest was very welcoming,though she was forced to wake up. She got up,and shook her sleek yet fluffy fur,and yawned tiredly. ''Okay Articpast!" It seemed like Dustpaw transformed from shy into cheerful in Articpast's presence.

Articpast led Dustpaw to the Nine Rocks, where all apprentices must go to train at SOME point before they are warriors.
"Now, Dustpaw, don't be afraid to hurt me, i don't want you to hold back. I want you to fight like I am a SummerMoonClan warrior hunting on our grounds. Now, hit me with everything you've got!" he said as he turned around to face her.

Dustpaw froze as she heard the word 'SummerMoonClan',she instantly remembered SandClaw. A hiss escaped her jaws as she threw herself onto Articpast,pinning him down. She swiped a paw across his face brutually. She stopped,Wh-what am I even doing?!She thought to herself worriedly.

"Ok, uh that was weird but lets try again." suddenly he burst out laughing, "Sorry, im sorry! It was just kinda funny!" he said between cackles. "ok, ok," he said still laughing a little, "Lets try some tactic work, fool me into a pin or something." He said crouching.

Dustpaw let out a slight chuckle as she said ''I-I'm sorry,I'm quite an awkward cat.." As she heard his last words,she frowned. What can I do to pin him down? I don't know how I can trick him or anything.. She thought. She began padding around Articpast in a somewhat sly way.

Articpast began circling the same way Dustpaw was, pretty soon they were just walking in a circle.

Dustpaw was unsure,though she continued circling him. Immediately,she lept onto him,pinning him down.I tried.

Articpast pulls up back legs and kicks Dustpaws stomach, sending her off him. he gets up and shakes the dust from his fur.
"Your very quick, try and use that to your advantage." he said.
