*bearstar huffed* fine. but if you cause trouble I swear I'll tear you to shreds * bearstar growled and her teeth and fangs grew then went back to normal for a warning, then she turned * yew, take care of her.

*yew nodded then walked over to the stranger* names yewheart. Call me yew. What's wrong with you?

Lightpaw ran over to her mentor, sniffing the new cat. She looked up at Yewheart "Is she going to join the clan?"

*yew gave a sharp glance at lightpaw then glanced back at the strange cat* excuse my apprentice. She never gives proper introductions. This is lightpaw *yew turned to lightpaw and whispered* I'm not sure. After the move bearstar is really defensive of the clan. but remember we did lose alot of cats. I don't blame her for not wanting change.

Lightpaw flattened her ears in embarrassment. "sorry." She looked back at Yewheart as she spoke, nodding. That made sense.

Wolfheart sat quietly, feeling the sun rest its warm gaze upon her light gray pelt. She was a little older, but she was still a fine warrior that was still somewhat in her prime. Somewhat. Suddenly, her ears picked up a disturbance not far off. Reaching out with her empathetic mind, she attempted to tap into the feelings of the cats. Unfortunately, she was unable to reach them. Frowning, Wolfheart looked upon her son who was sitting nearby, grooming himself. "Darkstorm?" she purred softly. The tom paused for a moment and casted a sideways glance toward her.

"Yes, Mother?" he answered in his deep, rumbling voice.
"Can you please check out the disturbance that is occurring over there?" she requested, nodding in the direction where she heard the noise. Darkstorm glanced in the direction she motioned to and nodded.
"Sure," he meowed apathetically before morphing into a red-tailed hawk. Once he did so, he flapped his wings and flew into the air to investigate the disturbance Wolfheart had sensed.

Fireflight padded into the forest, her paws careful not to make too much noise. Her forest-green eyes studied the landscape with care and she sniffed the air for any prey. Nothing. With a sigh, she continued her pace and lazily continued to look around.

She was in the shade. Voices. The voices of unknown cats were reaching her soft ears. Who were they? Minx quaked with fear and pressed herself against the rough bark of a tree. Were they going to attack her? Suddenly, she stiffened as a familiar and unpleasant stench reached her small nose. "Fox," she whispered fearfully. The tiny cat crawled into a nearby bush to protect herself from the foe as she prayed to whoever might be listening to her. "Someone, help me. Keep me alive, please. Please. Please..." she whispered, nearly weeping.

"Oh starclan..." Seahowl grunted. She leaped down from the branch and ran after Iceheart.

"Bearstar?" Robinpaw approached the leader. "Should I go check the newcomer?"

Deepfrost's mind drifted to the clan. She wondered how they were fairing. The hawk was the first meal she'd had since she found the mountain. She rolled the bird's half eaten carcass in between two large rocks and began to clean the blood from her pale white pelt.
