•lux is a noble baroque stallion, guardian of light. he is wise beyond his years.
lux will question the natural order of things, and will strive to become perfect. he isn't without flaws though. lux tries to are to please, and ends up pleasing no one. he will always feel small and imperfect. he takes his duties al out too seriously, and often becomes stressed and can make the wrong decisions. lux often enlists the help of others, and likes horses to feel included.
lux was born a normal horse, but later found his true destiny when the late guardian of light passed the power onto him.

lux walked regally through the plain, ears pressed forward and neck arched, seeming unreal in his majesty. the white stallion stopped and looked around, adornments and jewels softly brushing his face and neck, shimmering against his large chest. lux blinked his blue eyes and huffed, corners of his punk tonged nostrils turning up.
the andalusian flicked one ear around, lifting his creamy pendulum slowly. without a glance, he continued on, searching for a horse to enlighten. though he was proud and noble, just and true, lux wasn't without mundane emotion. every step of his chiseled pale chocolate hooves brought him closer to basking in the love of his worshippers, and dictating his ways to them. like a celebrity of religion he was celebrated, ardorned and loved throughout.
lux's mind worked quickly as he located a mountain ridge and traveled along it, squinting as bugs buzzed around him. the pesky insects disappeared as he got higher, his nostrils flared and closed as he struggled for adequate breath. looking down, he could see groups of horses, all interacting. he pressed his long ears back, feeling the sun on his wide sloping hindquarters. oh yes, this will make for a stunning appearance. he thought, the silhouette of his strong body casting a regal shadow over the valley below. carefully, lux lifted his head and raised a hoof, leaning back on his hindquarters. he carefully drew up another hoof, standing on his crumpled hind hooves now. slowly, being mindful of his apparel, lux squeezed the muscles in his rump and legs, flooding them with power and bred nobility. he lifted, up into a powerful and symbolic rear, legs pawing and mouth stretched wide in all its gruesome glory as he let out a bellow of pride that echoed to the horses below.
oh yes, they would see him now!

Tenebris

The Dark Stallion stood in the shadows of this new world as his other poised regally upon the other side. He, Tenebris, glared deeply from the shadows, but only few could notice the swaying shadows take form into a mighty stallion. He wanted to race up the hill to his other and strike him with such ferocity he would have no way of ever defeating him.

But he did not satisfy his burning desire. He remembered the war that had destroyed Balan. His quarrel with the white stallion only caused his people hurt. Sure, he wanted them to bow and make use of his every wish, but he would need followers, and people for his most eloquent desire to be reached. No, he decided, now is not a time for war, for when my other is comfortable, he is his weakest. The stallion gave a mighty shriek, sounding as if a storm was approaching, and turned, disappearing again to the darkness.

lux galloped down the hill, mane and tail and jewels flapping in the wind he created. as he reached the bottom, lux slowed, greeting the resident light worshippers a welcoming bellow. his pearly leg raised and dipped as he extended into a bow before them, muscles straining and shaking, a length of fresh foam coating his pink lips.
lux rose and dipped his head again, ears pressed forward in feigned grace.
then, the cremello's eyes narrowed and his large nostrils flared, quivering in disgust. his ears pressed flat to his skull, digging the chains into his skin and drawing blood. he sensed an evil... an impurity breaching his world. as the resounding shriek entered his mind and dilated his pupils, lux shook and bellowed back, furious Tenebris had dared come close. lux growled, eyes darkening and pure energy humming from his body. "Return from whence you have come foul demon." lux cursed, laying a terrible insult to his "brother."

The stallion could only turn back to his "fantastic" other and narrowed his own red eyes at him.

"Well, well, the Angel has cursed foully. Better hurry and bless your mouth again before your coat turns dark and we call each other Brother." The Dark Stallion snorted, watching as the worshippers of both sides stared at their beloved Guardians.

"Oh, dear Lux, I have not come to start our battle yet. Let there be a peace for a willing while, then when our armies have peaked may we battle again." The stallion offered, daring his rival to turn down his peace. The shadows coursed at his feet, sending a dark mist to the valley. A black metal plate guarding the stallion muscled chest shone in the light, glaring at the horses below.
