Arren heard the other pack's howls at their food. Pyro offered a territory patrol, and she accepted. "Why don't we take Chine with us? He hasn't done much in a while." She wagged her tail "Maybe we could catch some prey on the way?"

Pyro headed over to Chine and gathered him up. "Lets go patrol." They loped over to the side of their border closest to the Fell camp, watching as the dragged the moose away. Pyro sighed, in a couple of days they would need to go hunting again.

Crimson looked up and started to pull, making fairly good progress for carrying a moose uphill over rocks and boulders. He Sensed something and looked up a bit. Crimosn could see some Craggs wolves looking down at them. Hopefully their large kill would worry them. He caught the eye of the newer one, he heard it used to be a loner. he growled loudly at them. They better not come in. He wondered if they would try to steal some.

Vixen followed her mates gaze and also growled. If they came in, they would meet a fight! She didn't know just how many wolves there were in the rival pack, but she guesed that her pack had more.

Pyro and Chine both lifted their lips and snarled back at them. They weren't breaking any rules just standing here. It looked tempting, but not enough to risk a fight over. They loped along the edge of the territory, occasionally stopping to update their lines. Soon enough, they were back in their camp, and Pyro padded over to Arren. He lay down next to her, their pelts toughing, and sighed.

Bane came running up to Vixen and Crimson smelling the blood from the fresh kill. "Do you need any help" he asked wanting to help the alphas. He sniffed the air catching the scent of the Cragg wolves. He wondered if they had given the alphas any trouble. He sat down patiently waiting for an answer from the pair.
