"Hey!" Solar said offended. "Girls, you don't have to be so mean to him." Midnight stated looking at the other mares in the circle before turning to Solar. "I am Midnight Breeze but you can call me Midnight."

"Im sorry Solar, about Aqua and Dusk." Ariadne said kindly.

"Eh, that's okay they just don't appreciate my awesomeness." Solar replied shaking out his mane. "Sooo, does any one else but Aria here have powers?"

"I have Flame!" Ember and Dusk said at the same time. Then a double flame rose from the ground, Ember opened her eyes and her flame exploded. Then Aqua put out Dusk's fire.

"Your flames just exploded." Solar said trying to keep from laughing at Ember. Turning Solar turned and looked at Midnight "What do you do?" he asked almost scared. "I have flames like Dusk and Ember."

"Yeah, I know.... Don't really care about it either.... It's not as big as the one that almost burned up a forest tho..." Ember said. Dusk cantered away. That stallion is full of himself..... Dusk thought.

"I'm gonna go explore the meadow now." Solar said backing up scared that Ember would burn down another forest. Turning he galloped off n the opposite direction Dusk had went

"Im not going to kill you! I can do other things with my power, that don't explode!" Ember whinnied galloping after him. Aria rolled her eyes at Ember. Then she and Aqua trotted over to a pond to drink the water.

Laughing, Midnight unfolded her wings and took off into the sky. Practicing some moves her father had taught her, she glimsed a streak of black running through the forest. I must have imagined it. Midnight thought as she swooped closer only to find nothing there.

Dusk sprouted her wings and flew up over to Midnight. "Hey Midnight! I take it you saw that black streak too?" Dusk asked.
