BlizzardPaw bounded to her side. "What are we doing first?" He asked, his eye glittering with excitement. He spoke in a hushed tone, just in case there was any prey nearby. IHer didn't want to ruin it for the other patrols. He gazed around the clearing spotting a mouse. His paws itched to go after it, but he needed to wait for his mentor's answer.

Kestrelclaw yawned quietly, shaking his head as it to force out every last bit of tiredness that was still making itself comfortable in his mind. It had been a long, long day yesterday. He had busied himself in every possible way: hunting, patrolling the border, and anything else he found that he had the time to do. The reason for all of this work? Well, he was pretty sure he was slaking in what he contributed to the clan recently. Always talking and getting caught up in petty drama and gossip, the tom didn't seem to place as much attention on his warrior duties as he should of. This was something that had been biting him for moons, and so he had taken it into his own paws to try hard. Now, if only trying harder didn't make every limb ache with weakness. Being the type of cat that he was, he quickly shook this off and tried to pick out what he was to do today from all of the commotion going on within the camp.

Hearing his name, Kestralclaw quickly got up to his paws, making sure that his white and tabby-patterned coat was free of any strands of moss before going to join the others who were called to go on this hunting patrol with Eaglewing. Even though he might of been tired, eagerness emulated off of the tom in waves.

Kestrelclaw took a seat close to Eaglewing and Bearfur, waiting for the others to gather, He quickly dipped his head in a hello before taking in the sounds and sights of the RainClan camp, finding each one all the more distracting.

[She-Cat] [Kittypet] [22 moons]

The sunlight slipped through the sliding-screen door, wafting all of it's warm onto Aria's fur. She loved this time of day, when the sun was just rising over the horizon and beginning to bath the ground with it's warmth. It felt amazing to the touch and utterly relaxing, just the sort of thing she was into. All good things do not last though. She was disturbed the the high-pitched squeals of the twoleg kit she lived with, the little thing screaming with utter glee as he scrambled down the stairs. He had his weird stuffed toy in hand, which she still didn't get. His mother laughed and said something in their twoleg speak before the smells of their food started to make it's way into the room. Disturbed by this quiet, Aria quickly got up and made a mad dash for the cat door. She might have loved her twoleg's, but they were just too loud for this time of day.

"Ah, much better," she murmured, streaking across the family's backyard. She bunched up her legs and leaped up onto the fence. It overlooked much off the mysterious forest close-by, and she loved to gaze out at it during the day. It had an oddly calming affect, even if she had already heard the tales of the cats who lived within it's confines that would have been enough to scare any sensible feline out of their wits.

Lightningstripe purred at Leopardpaw's offer, her eyes gleaming with amused affection. "I'll be fine, don't worry," she assured the young she-cat, her tail tip flicking. "I've been hungrier than this. At that moment, Lightstar's call sounded through camp and the ginger she-cat turned to face the leader, giving the soft white fur on her chest a last lick to smooth it down. She was silent as she listened, planning out her day in her mind with a small nod: training, then border patrol. When LIghtstar finished speaking, she trotted to the apprentices den and stuck her head inside, her emerald eyes blinking in the sudden dim light. "Cloverpaw? We have training, so you should hurry if you want a bite before we leave," she meowed patiently as she crouched in the entrance.

Eaglewing's nodded enthusiastically at Bearfur's response. "You're right," he agreed. "I miss being an apprentice, it was so much fun!" He purred in amusement, remembering all the silly antics he had gotten up to just a few seasons ago, to the point of delaying his warrior name. At a high, excited meow behind him, the tabby turned to see Blizzardpaw and Lightstar heading for the camp entrance, clearly off for training. Catching Lightstar's eye, he held her gaze and nodded a goodbye before greeting Kestrelclaw, who had just padded up. The other tom seemed somewhat overwhelmed by the bustling camp, and Eaglewing flicked him on the shoulder with his tail playfully, purring with amusement. "Did you just wake up?" he asked. "You look scatterbrained this morning!"

Lightstar flicked her tail tip, unsure of what to do first. "I'm not sure yet." She meowed, looking around the first carefully. The cream and ginger she-cat saw the white Apprentice eyeing the mouse and lowered her voice, keeping her eye on Blizzardpaw. "Go for it."

Bearfur flicked his tail tip back and forth, growling. "I never want yo be an Apprentice again. I'm perfectly fine being a Warrior." Once the words were out of Bearfurs mouth, he half regretted them. The gray-brown tom wanted to rip his own pelt off, but he simply nodded a small greeting to Kestrelclaw.

BlizzardPaw flicked his tail with excitement and crouched, his eyes focused on the mouse. He crept forward his belly touching the ground slightly and his tail above the ground. He stepped carefully and at one point snapped a twig by accident. The mouse looked around but returned to it's seed. Once BlizzardPaw was in pouncing distance, he leaped, landing squarely on the mouse and snapping it's neck with a single blow.

Kestrelclaw let out a hearty laugh, happy to finally be talking. Being too quiet for too long made him feel rather antsy. "Why yes I have," he replied, a smile still present on his face as he licked his paws and quickly cleaned his ears. "I apologize for anything in advance that I mess up then. I've never been one for waking up early anyways. It's not really one of my better qualities." Letting out another yawn, he tried looking around the camp to see who else was up and about at this very hour of the day. "Who else is supposed to be on this hunting trip by the way? I wasn't able to catch all of the names."

Bearfur - Tom - Warrior - With Eaglewing and Kestrelclaw

The gray-brown tom flicked his tail tip back and forth, waiting for Wolfstride. "The patrol will be made up of us three and Wolfstride." Beatfur responded, annoyed that he forth tom wasn't here yet.



Lightstar - She-cat - Leader - With Blizzardpaw

"Great catch, Blizzardpaw." Lightstar praised her Apprentice with a warm tone. "Just burry it here and we'll come back and get it after training it over."

BlizzardPaw's tail flicked happily. "Ok!" He mewed,quickly burying his mouse to pick it up later. He then trotted back to his mentor. "What are we doing again?"
