Gizmo purred, roughly betting him over the head with his paw. "Bad at flirting. She likes you, you know." he murmured, the grin falling from his face. He glanced away.

[faunid]

"W-Well she's a nice cat and she likes you too that's why she-" Apples drabble ended as he looked up and saw Gizmo's face, realising what he had meant by 'like'. Apples large eyes widened and his body tensed. "W-What?! She can't like me! ...I..I..I-I'm a pathetic woss!" He squeaked.

Gizmo smirked. "Well, she does." he fiddled with his paws and then rested his head on them. "Who do you like?"

Sour Candy put finished reading her book, putting it with the others she'd read in a neat pile. She lifted herself up and moved into the warmest room in the small house: Her bedroom. She decided it was time for a nap, and leapt onto her bed, curling into a small ball.

Apple shifted, feeling uneasy and still in a state of disbelief.He flushed at his friends question and looked away. ".... Well... I never really thought about it.." He said slowly.

Gizmo shook his head. "Yes you have." he mumbled shoving him gently

Apple gulped pet his eyes meet Gizmo's breifly. He took a deep breath. "Well... I-I never really thought that I would have any interest from she-cats so actually I never really gave it much thought..." He said quietly looking into the fire, the glow from the fire flickering on his fur. "A-Also I knew you liked Sour and I didn't want to upset you..."

Gizmos ears twitched and he felt himself move slightly further away from the cat, mentally and physically. "So... You l-like Sour?" he mumbled, turning away so Bubble couldnt see his face

Apple looked at his friend breifly with pain in his eyes, he had never Gizmo like this before. "..Well... I don't know." He murmered. "I'd always thought of her as a friend b-because I wouldn't think that Sour, or any she-cat would pay any attention to me... And like I said, I keep my distance because I know you.. really love her.. In a which I'm to dense to really think about." He said, picking his words carefully.

he tucked his paws silently under himself. "You may as well ask her out, then at least she would be happy, and thats all that matters, I guess." He felt the breath pour out of himself, though he hadnt known he was holding it.
