Lurie

Lurie stumbled over a tangle of weeds. The stubborn stallion yanked his hoof free from the mass and pawed angrily at the grass. He snorted and trotted along the crest of a short hill. He moved with an exaggerated gait, feathered hooves flashing along the short grass and tufted tail flicking away. Lurie's golden eyes scanned the ground below, from a top the hill he felt in charge of everything, even if the hill was smaller than the rest. He took a backward glance at his right foreleg. The longer fur had been knotted and frayed by the weeds. "Quite unfortunate. Trying to sodden my day with a little twig?" He asked himself. The sunny stallion spoke with a casual accent, as if he were speaking to anyone within earshot. He looked back up at the valleys and hills in front of him. Lurie let out one shill whinny, just to catch anyone's attention.

Jedi;;

Jedi lifed an eyebrow and looked at Lyra a bit amused by the fiery colored mare. Well I was introducing myself and asking if wanted to go for a run or something. Do you daydream much?? Jedi smirked charmingly and snicked softly at Lyra. His ears pricked forward catching the whinnies and neighs in the distance, but decided to ignore them assuming it was a older stallion collecting some mares. Being only two years old he wasn't interested in his own herd, but flirting he was very interested in.

Drachmë closed the last couple feet, then stopped a ways off, not wanting to impude.
"It was rumored there was mare's around here, but it looks like you've beaten me to it."
He noticed how tense and fiery the stallion seemed, and immediatly remarked
"Relax, I'm not going to fight you. I was just curious; I haven't seen other's in a while, then suddenly there's a bunch of them that all conglomerated-- you included. Do you have a herd?"
He said, his soft eyes sparkling in curiousity and hidden excitement.

Lyra began to smile at the stallion until he asked that last question. She turned toward him, her smile gone. She took that question offensively, though there was nothing to be offended about. What she really wanted to do was to see all the other Wild Mountain Equids. She gave him a glare and pondered off to see what was going on. She held her head high, forcing herself to smile, though she was rather annoyed with that stallion. She kept her distance to the group, and began to feel nervous. She pretended not to notice them and began to graze instead.

Kirian
With Tisane.
Mood: "I could take on the world..."
He is crushing on no-one

I snort, watching as a mare bounds out of the clearing. I can tell - she's naive. The eagerness she shows is only the one a younger filly could show. I look to the side, and see a movement in the shadows. Maybe another filly. Maybe not. I turn towards the lively filly, thoughts revolving in my head. "Hello..." I say, slowly, but focusing on the stallion behind the trees and not directing my attention towards the filly beside me. I need to focus right now, and not get into a fight with this unseen stallion. Not be distracted by this lively filly - if the other stallion sees us talking, he may get the wrong impression, if he has the wrong intentions.

Just at that moment, I see the stallion move out of the trees. His calm voice reaches me, and I think over his words. Then, at the mention of a herd, something sparks inside me, an angry light shines up in my eyes. I snort, and stamp it down, and reply cooly to the stallion. "I wouldn't say I've beaten you to it... It seems that they found me, not the other way around." I snort, and look closely at the stallion. "And I'm not interested in picking up mares at the moment. And for your information, I don't have a herd." I add, with a slight sour hint in my voice. Something made a connection in my mind - the way he asked that question... like he thought I should have a herd. Like he thinks I'm a faliure because I don't. I snort, and look calmly at the other stallion.

Jedi;;

Jedi snorted at Lyra and then looked at the others in the distance. Well if you don`t want to you don`t have to. Go join the others, I personally just want to find something to do. Jedi flicked his tail softly and turned to go lifting his strong high in a trot. He didn't really care if Lyra came or stayed he just wanted to find something to do. Jedi`s face brightened as he came to a large mountain creek. He splashed in, water spaying everywhere.

Drachmë flattened his ears and backed up a step, unoblivious to the fact that he'd somehow managed to insult the stallion.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to encorach. I'll just be on my way"
He said uneasily, backing up more before turning to leave. He was a fiery one, that stallion. Sensitive too. He almost thought it was funny how his voice had been the same passive aggressive tone as he'd seen in many a mare. Trotting off, he figured he'd cut back through the woods; he hadn't missed the shape of the mares flash behind the stallion when they were talking, and judged by their direction that if correctly timed, he could cut them off further on.

Mood: "I could take on the world..."

I look towards the stallion, who seems to be backing off. I hear his comment, and it annoys me, but also makes me feel pleased. At least he'll be gone. I snort, and look around. The young equid is still standing there. Well, I can at least pay attention to her now. "Hey. I don't think I've introduced myself yet." I offer, trying to start a conversation. "My name's Kirian." I add, and smile. I better make some friends while I'm here. It seems I've already made one enemy.

Regina
Regina watched one stallion leave. She turned and looked at the other one, "Nice to meet you! I'm Regina." She flicked her tail back and forth idly while standing there. She looked past Kirian at a blue bird fluttering from tree to tree. TO her dissappointent it left as soon as it had come. She tried to focas back on the stallion in front of her but with her short attention span she found it difficult. A bug buzzed by her ear annoyingly. She attempted flicking it with her long donkey-like ear but failed. It finally buzzed away. Regina looked back at the stallion in embarrestment. He seemed somewhat around her age, maybe a year older.

Siren just observed the confrontation from her spot in the trees, finally stepping into the small area of scarce light once the original stallion turned to Regina. Kirian was his name, she took mental note. It seemed this was the stallion she had whinnied too earlier so she gripped the traces of invitation she found in his reply as she made herself visible. "Hello," she chimed, not wanting to interrupt Regina and the stallion but the two mares had come together so siren felt entitled to watch the younger mares back, since she seemed oblivious to danger.
