Featherfall stood, yawning. She wanted to go meet the new kit, but she decided that he would be crowded enough for now. She headed back to the medicine cat den, thinking that Twilightmoon might need her to check the stock of herbs. She silently listed the herbs that she knew that they needed as she disappeared int othe den.

Hawkfoot turned his back to the she-cats crooning over Sparrowkit. He thought it was great they had a new kit, the clan needed kits. They were truly a joy. But he decided to see if he could go on border patrol. What if the rogues who abandoned him came back? He headed towards Flashthorn, preparing to ask the deputy if he could go on border patrol.

Sunclaw heard something scuttling around in a bush. She peered through the leaves and saw a plump mouse eating a nut, then with one swift bite to the neck it fell limp. Sunclaw walked back to camp with the mouse hanging from her jaws.

When Sunclaw got back to camp she put her mouse on the fresh kill pile. She felt restless, so she decided to ask to go on a border patrol. She was on her way to ask Flashthorn if she could go on a border patrol, but she saw her talking to Hawkfoot and thought it looked important, so she decided she would wait to ask until they were done talking.
