She shot a smile at her apprentice before realizing the danger that could be near. " Where abouts was the scent ? "[color=#808080] RainDapple knew that by now the fox could be anywhere, but it was better to start from the beginning.

Seeing no kit there, he turned around to hear a she cat greeting him. With a smile, he responded the greeting before turning around to see what the fuss was about. When he saw his mentor, Greynose, the tom decided to go and see what is happening. Trotting over to his side, DustPaw heard something about fox scent.

"It was by the Rock River where I caught the scent." Greynose meowed, flicking his tail, and he looked at Dustpaw and Sootpaw before looking back at Raindapple.

Silentstar:
Silentstar yawned as she awoke. She sniffed the air and noticed more cats were up. "I wonder if I have time to give Snowpaw a quick hunting lesson.." Silentstar mewed. She walked out of her den and stared proudly at the clan.

Silvertail:
Silvertail slowly woke up from her nest. When she finally got up, she heard Greynose say he needed a patrol. Silvertail yawned and walked over to Greynose. "I'm not to tired, can I be on the morning patrol?" She mewed.

" SootPaw and RavenPaw are coming along. " RainDapple looked at the she-cat while telling her what the deputy had said. Once her sentance was finished, her eyes wondered about the camp to look for the black she-cat but her thoughts were thinking through where the fox could be now... Her eyes hid no sign of panic.

" Can we go ? " Understanding the situation, DustPaw stared at his mentor. He knew that most likely he would be scolded for asking, but it was worth a try. With his eyes wide, the tom's tail curled up between his paws as he sat down, looking up at Greynose.

Silentstar:
Silentstar stared out and saw Greynose instructing the morning patrol.

Silvertail:
Silvertail hoped that the fox scent was just carried by the wind onto Fernclan territory. Meeting a fox was the last thing anyone wanted to happen.

Greynose nodded and flickered his tail, looking at Silvertail and Raindapple. "Alright, but just be careful, there could be more then one fox if you find where the scent leads." He meowed

Sootpaw looked at Raindapple. "so I'm going?" she asked. She flicked her ears and listened some more.

Noticing the she-cat out of nowhere, a slight smile spread across her face when she saw Sootpaw. " Of course."RainDapple's tone kept friendly, but quite worried. She didn't want anything happening to her clan mates and especially not her apprentice. She took one last glance at Greynose before trotting away into the woods, slowly for the others to catch up.

" So can we go ? " DustPaw's eyes were fixed on his mentor in confusion. He tried not flattening his ears against his head, but it was clear that he was failing.

Sootpaw smiled and followed closly behind Raindapple. "what if we see a fox?" she asked tilting her head and stepping up beside her mentor.

Greynose looked at Dustpaw. "No we won't be going, I'm afraid that we won't be doing anything exciting today, we have to gather moss for the nursery."
