Short Description → Birchgaze is a large Maincoone with splotches of ginger-brown, white, and stripes and patterns of black. He has hazel (Green and Yellow) eyes and a stern gaze. Although hard-headed, the tom actually has depression and suffers from panic attacks. Because of this, he distances himself from other cats in fear that he will hurt them. He has never wanted a mate, and generally does not care for shes, in a romantic sense.

Birchgaze was born and raised in Riverclan by his Father who was the retired leader at the time. His father taught him how to act, what to say, and what to do. What the clan didn't know was that Birchgaze's father was abusive, and generally would force the young tom (who was an apprentice at the time) to fight him with claws unsheathed. This resulted in numerous injuries, in which Birchgaze never opened up about. It is not common knowledge that he was abused, and he hopes to keep it a secret from his clan.

Description; A dark grey tabby she-cat with silver flecks throughout her pelt. She has almost jet black paws and her fur grows darker around her spine and ruff of the neck, it is also slightly thicker in these areas. Her pelt is also criss-crossed with multiple scars and she is missing a large chunk of her left ear. Her eyes are a dark amber colour.

As darkness fell, the murder stood up in their nest. Getting to their paws, they walked over to the nursery, knowing what they had to do. “Riversplash,” they murmured. “Come with me and take a walk?” they asked, noticing the kit was still asleep. Riversplash nodded, and carefully uncurled herself from around the kit and walking out to the murder. The murder nodded for the queen to lead, following her. Suddenly the murder snuck away, tail flicking with anticipation, watching from a bush as they waited for her to approach the trap they had set earlier.

Crouching as Riversplash got near them, they wait until it was the right moment to pounce on the queen and fought with Riversplash briefly, the queen being out of shape from being in the nursery for a few moons. After the fight, the murder washed their paws in a stream and headed back to camp, sneaking back into their den and to their nest.

Lost your only queen RiverClan! Better find the murder before they do more damage

Violetkit didn't want to get up, covering her face with a fluffy tail the she-cat leaned into her mother... or she tried. Lifting her head the kit realized she was alone 'maybe River- No, her sent is weak.' Curiosity struck Violetkit quickly, she wanted to find out where Riversplash had gone!

Slinking out of the nursery she sniffed the air, imitating what she thought a warrior would do, following it towards the camp entrance.

Nightpaw stretches, blinking in the little slice of sunlight that reaches her through the den walls. She gets to her paws, shaking her fluffy pelt out, and walks out to go get a mouse.

Burntstripe poked his head into the warriors' den. "Up and at 'em!" He called with fake cheeriness. Coalface had put him in charge of the morning patrol, and no one else was up yet. Waiting for the warriors on his patrol to wake up, he spotted Violetkit headed toward the entrance. "Good morning Violetkit, you're up early. Where's Riversplash?" He asked, hoping to talk to his mate a bit before going out on patrol.

Birchgaze awoke, fluffing out his fur in the cold morning air. "Good morning." He mewed to the other waking warriors, stretching his legs.He stood and made his way into camp, spotting Violetkit and Burntstripe. "Good morning." He mews again, noticing what they were talking about. "Is she missing? Should we tell Birchstar?"
