I had always been bigger than my sisters, so i had to take a minute to reconize swankit, her black markings were easy to remember
"Swankit?" I looked at her my eyes wide open

"Where have you been the last few moons! Purpleflower has been worried! You need to come back now! Please Duskkit! Not only is Purpleflower worried, Icestar, Silverheart, and half the warriors are worried too!" She meowed sadly.

"After i was taken by the barn cats, for one, no warriors came looking for me. Then only dawnkit was saved. They were right, the barn cats, i would be loved more in the barn then in the clan. I was almost invisible in the clan. Only you really cared, purple flower hardly talked to me, nor flowerkit, no other kits even looked atme, nor the apprentices nor warriors. They only started to see me once i was gone, no?." I said my eyes flickering with mixed emotions

Swankit bristled, "that's not true! Warriors have other duties, it's the queens job to look after us, the warriors wait till we are apprenticed! None of the warriors acknowledge us, ANY of us kits unless we go to them. Not just you" she hissed angrily. "And me! How could you ABANDON ME! How could you Duskkit! You were my best friend as well as my brother and you rejected me for living with those cruel cats!" Her blue eyes were blazing angrily at him.

"What about the other kits hmm?" I retorted, hurt about what she said at the end i reply, my voice uneasy
"Do you really think that i never think about you? That i dont cry alone because i miss you and i hate myself for leaving. Well guess what, your wrong" my ears flattened
"And i cant leave...." I murmured

"You CAN leave, you just don't want to! The other kits were playing with their kin, Flowerkit doesn't talk to ANYONE! The apprentices are training." She snapped. Her eyes brimming painfully. "I can't believe you don't trust the warriors to protect us, there are more warriors than there are barn cats! They could easily defeat them! Duskkit stop being silly, come home! I need you there! How will I train as a warrior if I can't here my mentor!l

"Dont you understand?! I cant come back" my voice was full of pain, but she couldnt see it.
"If i come back....." My eyes watered
"You, flowerkit, and purple flower will die" i murmured

"Did you not hear me? There are many more warriors in our clan than there are cats in that barn! We have over 20 warriors and there are at least 10 barn cats, not to mention like 5 apprentices, that's like 2 warriors per untrained barn cat! We could destroy them in seconds! They do not stand a chance!" Swankit meowed firmly. "You know we can beat them, no one would die when we outnumber them easily. You just don't want to come back." She added softly. Swankit didn't get why he couldn't understand that if Iceclan were to attack the barn those cats would die easily.

The clan migt be in bigger numbers, but the barn cats have different techiniques, they dont have a code so they can kill who ever they want, some have fun chasing dogs. dogs., and if they wanted to kill you they steal you, and kill you, they are good to be camouflaged swankit, ones name is shadow because he is silent and almost invisible" I added worried but sternly
