Blaze looked at Patches, confused. "Who put crowfood in your dish?" he rolled his eyes. "Anyways, I was just going to tell you that Hollytail left, but I guess you aren't interested..."

Sagestep nodded, eager for her plan to get into action. She silently went the other direction and went behind the prey. She looked at Stormpaw and waited for the signal.

Stormpaw quickly found a good enoughbush to hide in and once he was crouched and ready he lifted his bushy grey tail and gently flicked the white tip.

Rowanheart grabbed his vole and followed after her, amber eyes shining.

Sagestep appreciated that he only flicked his tail gently because otherwise it might have scared it away. She ran up to the prey and chased it toward the bush that Stormpaw was hiding in.

Stormpaw waited for the right moment and with a quick burst the burly grey tom sprang, pinning the large hare beneath his large grey paws and sank his teeth into it's neck quickly. ONce it finished its struggle he gave a silent thanks to Starclan before looking up at Sagestep with glee.

Sagestep looked down at the prey and then up at Stormpaw. "I'm very proud, you'll make a fine warrior someday." she stated, digging a small hole and burrying the prey in it.

Stormpaw beamed before questioning, "You really think so?" He pressed.

Sagestep laughed. "Yes Stormpaw." she said as she finished burrying the prey. "Alright, should we split up?"

He nodded eagerly, "Sure! I'll catch a lot of prey fr the queens!" HE boasted.

Splash went ahead of Rowanheart, but checked every few minutes that he was still behind her.

Sagestep smiled at the young tom's enthusiasm. She nodded and went the other direction in search of prey.
