Rainkit looked around, realizing there was no one to play with. The tiny tom shrugged, bounding off to the nursery, on reflex batting at the flowers overhead. He curled up by his mother, purring loudly he settled next to his sister. "Mama. Can you tell me a story?"

She purred "well, how about I take you kits to see the Fireflies. That way you don't get into any trouble," she said and looked at her kit "well, that's a really funny story. Let me think of how to start it." He sat in silence thinking. Then chuckling she knew. "Okay, so it all stared back when we were apprentices. I was quite shy and preferred to stay by my mom but one day she told me to go play so I wandered out of camp and your father, Had just finished training with his mentor. He was a couple moons older so he was almost a warrior. Well I was hunting with Swampfoot, Felicity's father and as I pounced I missed my target and pounced right on to Redfeather." She meowed with small laughter. "He kinda looked at me like I was Mousebrained for being so clumsy and Swampfoot laughed but redfeather laughed and we wrestled and soon became best friends. Later on down the road when I was made a warrior he asked me to be his mate and I agreed. Now I'm here with you and your siblings." She told Rainkit(Sorry, at work so it's gonna be sketchy replies.)
