she meowed and trotted down the path. "Oh, by the way, I'm the best runner in the
clan." Kestrelflight sneered and bolted down the path.

Starlingfling looked around and sighed. "Follow this blood
trail." she meowed and gestured towards the trail of crimson liquid. Her ears
pirked, she listened for the queen while following the blood.

"Should we tell Swiftstar about this?" Thornstep asked nervously, instinctively walking just close enough to Starlingfeather so that the tips of their fur touched. It was therapeutic to him, knowing that another cat was so right there beside him if he needed reassurance or comfort. He didn't think much of it, but for some reason his ear tips burned red at the brushing of his pelt against the medicine cat's. He said nothing of it, though, and used the scent of the blood to guide his way to the injured queen.

xxxxx Ravenstrike bolted after her, laughing. He was having the time of his life. "We'll see about that!" he yelled after her, almost catching up to her. She was very fast, but he was very strong. They would make the perfect team. Suddenly, a memory came to him. When he was a kit, he remembered racing another kit and then falling and almost killing himself. He skidded to a halt and stared into space with bright, wide, fearful eyes. He watched as Kestrelflight ran off. [idk i wanted to do something like that XD ]

With another nod, Thornstep soon fell silent in his determination to find Hollytail. The scent of blood was strong and warm, making the fur at the back of his neck stand on end. Starlingfeather's gentle touch helped the bicolored feline to stay calm, and for a while he completely forgot that she was a medicine cat. The only thing that reminded him of her position was the sweet, green smell that wafted from her body. Thornstep nearly smiled as his mind drifted towards her scent, his body becoming overly aware of her fur and muscles shifting against his. But suddenly, he realized what he was doing and shook out his fur, trying to clear away his forbidden thoughts. "Do you see her?"

Cedarpaw sat with his striped tail curled around his paws. The tom looked a bit crestfallen after being yelled at, but that wouldn't last for long. His leg with the white foot was splashed with mud from when he went running through the camp a little bit before. He yawned, stretching out his paws and claws and the stood up and looked up to see what place the sun was at in the sky. His leafy green eyes were squinted against the brightness of the sun. His eyes were very light sensitive.

The fluffy tom woke up in his nest and looked towards the entrance of the warriors' den. I suppose that I've probably slept in late. He walked into the clearing and plopped down, examining his fur for the pieces of moss that were always stuck in it after he slept in his nest. Frosttail pulled a few pieces of moss from his tail and then turned his attention to the cats around camp.

The ginger apprentice plopped down in her nest, away from the other cats. Her throat was very sore and she was starting to feel delirious. She buried her nose into her moss nest and refused to socialize with anyone else. I don't think that I can even look at another piece of prey again. She flattened her ears against her head and her tail tip twitched back and forth.
