Melane listened to his sigh at first, perhaps he didn't want to share about his accent, and she would understand, and had opened her mouth to speak, when she heard his voice. She listened intently to his story, once more, her full attention given to Nexxus. "I think the accent is a nice touch, Nexxus. It adds to your character and who you are." She said, smiling softly after he had finished speaking. She did like his accent, but she could understand why it would become a little hard to understand.

"In that case," Kuzuru said dull, flatly, and unamused, "I'll be on my way." as she walked away she used her jewel to raise and lower the ground beneath Lynn abruptly hopefully causing her to stumble and fall. If not it would at least give her a scare. "Tch, who's laughing now?" she muttered to herself barely audible.

Luke walked out of the cafe, tucking the meat pie and the sausage roll he had bought into his pocket, not feeling hungry right now so he would same them for later, maybe even another day. The red and black male's yellow eyes could see other dragons talking to each other in the streets but he didn't move forward to join them and talk to them, why should he? He didn't like other people in general and hardly ever made friends unless someone actually had the nerve to come up and bother him before very slowing gaining his rare trust. At the moment he only had one friend but that didn't matter to Luke, if you asked him he would say that friends only weigh you down but deep down to the darkest corner of his heart, he was lonely.

Hugo felt slightly intimidated by all the groups of JMD's hanging about around the shops. It was hard being the new one in town, especially with his bad track record of making friends. The brown and cream dragon continued his ambling along the street, searching for a book store. As he glanced about, Hugo's eyes stopped on a solitary red and black dragon, alone on the street. Plucking up his courage, Hugo figured it would be better to ask this dragon than a whole mob of strangers.
"Uh. Hi." He said softly.
"I'm Hugo....I'm kind of new around here...Do you know if there's a bookstore anywhere nearby?"

Luke

No, no, no. Another male dragon was stumbling towards him, was it really to hard to see that Luke wished to be left alone when he was sitting by himself like this? He ignored the dragon's soft little hello, not bothering to answer it, the red and black dragon only seemed to answer questions with strangers. ''Down the street and turn left before going along. You'll see it soon enough.'' Luke's voice didn't have any hint of emotion hidden withen it, his tone was dead and flat.

"Oh. Um...Thanks." Hugo replied, his voice showing traces of offence. He was tempted to leave the stranger alone, and go as far away as possible then, but the strangers' dull voice had somewhat concerned him.
"Are you...okay?" He asked, fully aware that there was a 99% chance that he was just annoying the black and red dragon further. "I didn't get your name..."

Luke's sharp teeth came together as he gritted his teeth in annoyance as this 'Hugo' went on speaking, why wouldn't he just get lost and go away? ''I'm fine,'' the male muttered under his breath, this time the irritation pushing through, at least there was so type of emotion in that normally flat tone now. ''I do not believe you need to know my name. I didn't ask for yours, did I? You chose to tell me it.'' Nor had this other male had made some type of deal like 'you tell me your name and I'll tell you mine', so why should Luke answer? Names could be used against you, used to turn you in to police and with a history like his, Luke just didn't want to risk it. For all he knew, Hugo could be working for the cops, taking on the role of a nervous little boy while he was secretly plotting in his head. And, it was very unlikely he would see Hugo again so there was no need for the other dragon to know Luke's name.

Lynn stumbled,catching herself. she blinked, shocked. Maybe Kuzuru was having a bad day. Watching Kuzuru leave, Lynn dusted off herself and shrugged, and glanced at the floor, Frowning. She flicked her eyes to a red and black male talking to a brown and blue one. Tempted to go and talk to them, Lynn easily let go of her little fall and slipped the sweater on, it was a little big, but oh well.

Nexxus brushed his hand against hers figuring it would show some sign that he was smiling and happy to be talking to her. At the worst the sudden touch would creep her out and she would move her hand away. Which would make them both feel a bit weird wouldn't be a long run affect. So again weighing the pros and cons Nexxus decided to take a leap of faith. If his was going to teach her how to play piano they would be touching each others hands a lot anyway. Nexxus sat his elbow on the counter holding his chin with his hand waiting for a reaction of some kind. Maybe he could read her mind? Nah, Nexxus was desperate for a reaction but not that desperate.

Looking past Malane he caught sight of two males outside, what seemed to be a one way conversation. One was slightly bigger and seemed to have a gruff appearance. The other was slightly smaller and seemed to be uncoordinated by the way he had stumbled over to the other. Squinting his eyes a bit he made out the bigger one, seeing where he was gestering to or even if he was gestering to something. Which reminded Nexxus after work he needed to return something to the book store. Looking up at the clock he saw about a half hour was left of his shift. Speak of a easy work day most of it he got to sit and talk to the most mysterious Malane perhaps they could talk again. He could invite her to the coffee shop the days he works after hours so they could practice piano. The manager didn't care what you do after hours in the store as long as you leave it tidy and locked up.
