Sleetpaw nodded, darting out of camp. He got a thick branch, then ran fast to Sprucepaw. "I need Poppy Seeds and Borage!" The apprentice squeaked, eyes wide because the dumb old apprentice still thought she was dying.

The calico stepped sideways to allow Desertblossom in without getting shoved away and copied the she-cat's movements, crouching by the queen's head. Rasping her pink tongue in a soothing manner of Patchface's ear, she let out a calming purr. "Everything will be fine. Ducksong is on his way, and soon you will be naming your kits." At least, she hoped it would be soon; her own kitting had taken near to a day because Flamepaw had refused to be born. Why did he have to be so big?

She let out a small giggle at Seapaw's words, smiling brightly despite the drama. "Oh hush! This is a very important day for TimberClan!" She scolded him playfully, giving him a little push. "Besides, it must be wonderful to have kits!"

A gulp went down her throat as her daughter stepped up. "Sunclaw," Morningdove whispered. Guilt filled her head. That was her daughter. Her half-clan daughter, and there was her half-clan son, and there was the she-cat they called mom. But now it was time to tell them, wasn't it? Shouldn't they k ow who their parents truly were. And now that they were both warriors. She sighed.

Now back in camp, Littlehawk cheered for the two new warriors. He wondered how long it would be before his half-brother or half-sister had kits. They didn't know that he was related to them. So he would have nieces and nephews that didn't know him. Maybe he would even mentor one of them. Sunclaw was a nice name, but not the best he had ever heard.

The small she-cat clenched her jaw a touch. Whatever was inside her kept moving. All too fast really. Quick as she could her eyes glanced down her sides. It just looked like she'd been eating a touch too much. Mentally groaning at the pain, she turned to Tigerstripe. "Drop and I are heading home. We should be back tomorrow. If we aren't, don't worry," She said. With the same ease she had earlier she climbed up the nearest tree and the two she-cats took off for NightClan territory.

Sunclaw threw her mother off. Why do you have to do this to me? I know you're not who I think you are! It was just too much. All too much. Her shoulders shaking with sobs, Sunclaw ran out of camp, trusting the chaos surrounding the new kits to insure her disappearance wouldn't be noticed. She ran as hard as she could, until she found herself by the stream yet again. Breathing deeply, Sunclaw tried to keep calm. Why had she panicked? She could have worked it out with Moonshade, she knew.

Desertbloom rolled her eyes. Excellent timing, Patchface. She bounded with long strides to the nersury and shooed everyone away. "Duckpond is busy with Flickerkit! Out of my way!" When the medicine cat was busy, it was best for an experienced queen to take charge. She shoved everyone away from the nursery besides Duststorm, both because she was deputy and a mother herself, but she didnt really expect everyone else to stay away for long, and crouched beside Patchface. "Sleetpaw, go get a stick and some poppy seeds and borage from Sprucepaw," she directed her apprentice.

"Youre vigil will begin at dusk,"he announced to the two new warriors. He looked down at Sunclaw with a knowing gaze. "You are overdue to become a warrior. You passed your last test well enough, but Duststorm insisted your attitude needed improvement. Ive been keeping an eye on your myself, and you should have become a warrior a moon ago." He was interrupted when he heard a cry ring out from the nursery, his ears pricked and his fur rose slightly. "And apparently we are about to have some new kits," he told the gathered Clan, though his eyes were trained on the nursery. When Desertbloom rushed by announcing that Ducksong had his paws full with Flickerkit, the leader realized he hadnt seen her or Applesong sense he got back. He paniced a bit and jumped down, joining the chaos. As he ran to the medicine den and ducked inside, he asked himself more than anyone else, "What happened to Flickerkit?!"

Seapaw sat tight and watched the chaos unraveled all around him. "Aaaaaaand, the moment's gone," he told himself, though loud enough for Flamepaw and Breezepaw to hear. He laughed when Breezerpaw pushed him a little and shrugged. Before he could reply, he noticed Mistydawn faint in the middle of the busy Clan and exchenged glanced with Breezepaw before dodging his clanmates to rush to her side. "Mistydawn? Wake up!"

As soon as she saw Spiderstar she put on a pout and twisted around to look at her father with big eyes. "I hurt my paw," she complained. Spiderstar was the easiexst victim to leech sympathy out of. He was the only cat she respected 100% of the time and actually looked up to. She was his little girl and she took advantage of how much she meant to him.

The apprentice grabbed the herbs, nodding his head in thanks. He set the poppy seeds at Patchface's head, also setting the big stick down, "Where does this go?" He asked, holding the Borage in his tiny mouth. Sleetpaw shook with fear as he looked at them.

Applesong

Applesong stood next to Spiderstar and Flickerkit. "Yes, she hurt her paw jumping off of me. She has already been to Duckpond." Applesong told her mate. Nuzzling him, she wondered if this was the right time to tell him she was expecting kits. Expectantly when Patchface still had a long kitting to come. Which would most likely be very painful, and with a lot of yowling. Telling him during this process probably wouldn't be the best idea. Maybe after Patchface had her kits. Newborn kits could warn any kind of cat. Applesong thought that would be the perfect time.

Foxchaser skidded into the camp just as Spiderstar announced Sunclaw's and Mistydawn's new names. "Sunclaw!" He yowled happily. Now Sunclaw wouldn't be so unhappy about him being a warrior, and really, Foxchaser couldn't help it. It'd only been last moon, after all. He suddenly stood as Sunclaw streaked out of the camp, leaving Moonshade standing alone. "Moonshade! What happened?" He screeched over the chaotic roar of everybody doing different things all at once. Obviously their mother had done something to upset Sunclaw.
