owlfeather noticed she looked slightly uneasy. time to use his back up plan. "o-oh-h, i just meant whether you were born in stormclan or born outside the clans?" he asked her quietly, looking at the tree tops rather than contact with her eyes.

"Who says I don't know them? I watched the apprentices in my time away from the clan. I used it to fight off predators," she said, smiling. "But what is the excuse?"

[storm coming.]

Sagestep looked at Stormpaw happily. "So, when was the last time you've hunted at the meadow?" she asked as she headed that way.

Fadedecho shrugged. "Well.. I just figured since you're a medicine cat apprentice that you didn't know much battle moves so that could be our excuse to get away for awhile.."

Rosetail looked down at her paws. "I-i was born into the Clan, what about you?" she asked, looking up at him.

"Well, yeah, but why would i need to know battle moves?" she asked.

Fadedecho shrugged. "Just in case there's a badger attack in camp or something. Besides, I don't even know if we actually need an excuse. We could just walk out of camp at different times." he pointed out.

"Maybe..." The she-cat sighed. She looked at Fadedecho.

Fadedecho sighed, looking at Beetlepaw. "Well, do you have any other idea?" he asked.

"No, no..." she admitted. "Okay, you go first. Then i'll wait a little bit.

Fadedecho nodded, standing to his paws and looking over at Beetlepaw. "See you soon," he whispered and headed toward the entry of camp. The tom sat outside the entry in the forest, waiting patiently for her to come. For the mean time, he looked around at his surroundings, bored.
