She nodded then looked down. She remembered how soft Rainstar's clean moss was. The nursery is a pretty long long distance from your den and the sun has set. May I stay here for the night? She nervously purred.

"You.. Want to sleep with me?" Rainstar's whisker's twitched in surprise. "I suppose that would be fine." she murmured.

(( It's night time now and everyone's kinda settling in for the night. We have two apprentices from EarthClan in camp because one of them broke her leg and the other carried her here. Mildtail is working on doctoring her up. There's also a new kit in camp who has turned out to be Bluefeather's (the medicine cat apprentice's) kit and is causing a little trouble since Bluefeather wants to raise him. ))

She looked over at Hollowkit. "I might have been. I might not have been. What's the difference, eh?" she said when Rainstar left, the last part a little mockingly. She didn't mean it, of course, but she was tired and a light sleeper. "And were you not eavesdropping as well?"

She started to feel a unknown emotion towards Rainstar.. Like sorrow,sorry,happiness. Thank you She mewed, starring at Rainstar without a single blink.

She laid down in her nest with a mostly blank expression. She felt.. awkward? Afraid? Happy? It was strange. She'd never had a kit sleep in the same den as her, well not since she was a kit herself.

She lowered her head and laid her head where Rainstar's paws would usually lay. Goodnight Moth- I, I mean Goodnight Rainstar.

"What's there to even eavesdrop about?" Hollowkit whispered back, here expression just as unchanging as ever except for a light twitch. Without fur, she found that every night was cold and she shivered whenever a burst of cool night breeze swept through the nursery. With an impish grin, she cocked her head, "Why does everyone care about that new kit so much anyways? Nobody cared that much about you when you joined." Her voice was matter of fact like, though she didn't mean any harm in it anyways. with a small shrug, she twitched before adding, "But I still prefer you to the new one. He's too sad all the time."

Rainstar's eyes were wide as she floundered in silence for a long second that felt like minutes to her. "Good night Orchardkit.." She felt a purr starting to rumble in her chest as she became more aware of the kit's warmth. 'Is.. this what it's like to be a queen?' She relaxed, letting her eyes close and her mind drift to sleep. For the first time in a long time she didn't dream of Nettlefang's death.

(( And I'll be hitting the hay for the night since it's 1am haha woops. All my characters are asleep except for Snowpaw who is currently somewhere in the forest with Littlepaw buuut since Allons-y hasn't been on lately let's just say she's in the apprentice's den sleeping too. ))
