Rose shuffle closer to Dex as about 45 deer exploded into the camp. They ran rampant; destroying some of the dens. Suddenly she saw Nite and realised how protective he was of his sister - her love for Dex wouldn't go down well.

Nite followed the deer when he noticed Dex and Rose. The brute swallowed as a million dangers that their love might put them in screamed in his head, before looking round for Tally. Leaping, he knocked her to the side so she was safe.
