[I love Zeus so much right now.]

Squirrel watched Klim intently, incredibly confused. But...but the human had killed him. She'd buried his body. That's why she'd gone to the city. That was what happened, right? Or...or had that been all a dream? Squirrel looked down at the cat in her paws, finally seeing it as a cat. She didn't recognize him in the least, but she could tell it was a cat. Her paws and the cat she was on were stained with blood and horror filled her as she put two and two together. Oh god. What had she done? Squirrel stepped off the cat, backing away from the injured tom and slowly slinking behind Klim. "What did I do. Oh, I'm so sorry. So sorry. I never meant to hurt anyone. So sorry. Sorry." She murmured, eyes wide in horror.

Storm yawned, getting up and stretching, arching his back. He looked down the wall, looking for a place where he could land. But, all he saw was hard asphalt and a few trash cans. Shrugging, he thought, What could go wrong? He bunched up his muscles, then jumped. His paws hit the ground hard with a thud, and he winced, crouching down to absorb the shock. Standing up again, he figured he may as well go get some food.

He sighed, letting his shoulders slump forward into a more relaxed state. The threat of Squirell killing Fish Bones had passed. He begrudgingly laid his tail on her shoulder. "It's alright, you didn't do anything bad, just showed him not to mess with us." Zeus spoke calmly, still quite unsure if Squirell saw him as Zeus or Klim right now. He turned to Fish Bones, his face emotionless. "I'm sure you're well enough to hitch hike your fanny outta here." He said, quite coldly.

Squirrel felt herself relax a bit at Klim's tail on her shoulder, but a jolt of fear and shock shot through her as she noticed that that wasn't the cream tabby tail that belonged to her brother. Her amber eyes widened in fear, and she flinched away from the tom. "What...what's going...where's Klim?" she asked, her voice like that of a little kid who'd had his favorite toy taken away. "Where'd he go? Where'd he go?" She whispered, her tail lashing.

Fish Bones was in so much pain he could hardly hear Zeus telling him to leave. The scratches, though numerous, weren't as deep as he had thought they were and the amount of blood dripping from them was lessening. They stung horribly though and the though of moving made him wince. Also, he couldn't see. One of his eyes was throbbing angrily while the other seemed to be sealed shut with blood. Groaning, he wrenched both open and let out a scream as he realized one of his eyes was completely sightless. "What did you DO?" He yowled at Zeus, vision blurry in his one good eye.

(*slinks back in* I quit for awhile, and life got in the way. I'm sorry, so so so so sorry! Now I'm back...for the while atleast.)

Zeus.
He glanced at Squirell, worry in his eyes. "I don't know who Klim is, but whoever he is, they're not here. And I don't think they have been for a long time." He said softly, laying his tail over her shoulder. Lucky for him he had a long tail, because he was so short, that with a regular tail he wouldn't have been able to do this. The scracth under his eye was still bleeding, and it stung. He didn't even wince at Fish Bones yowl. "I don't know." He muttered, not wanting to start another fight, for the moment. "Go put water on it, or something." He said simply, tiptoeing around the old tom's feelings. He wasn't sure when the tom might explode. He seemed mentally unstable. Not that Zeus himself didn't have problems...but this tom was like a ticking time bomb.

Squirrel stared blankly at Zeus as he spoke. What did he mean, he didn't know where Klim was. He'd been right there just a moment ago but then...then he was gone. Squirrel wracked her mind trying to pinpoint exactly when he had dissapeared but the last couple minutes were blurry and confusing. She whimpered quietly. She'd lost him, again. She'd failed.

Zeus.
He rested his eyes on the she-cat once more, worry clear in them. "Squirell? Hello? Everything's alright, you're okay. I'm sure Klim's okay too. Maybe he just wanted to check in on you, then go back to where he came from." Okay, so he was rambling. Saying anything that came to his mind that he thought might make her feel better. So far, he wasn't sure if it was working or not. He watched her carefully, while at the same time checking back at Fish Bones every so often to make sure the old cat wasn't going to try anything foolish. Zeus felt strangely calm, as if all the fighting and anger from before had left him. For the first time in his short and hate filled life, he wanted to be with another cat. He wanted a friend. Someone to lean on, to trust. He didn't want to be closed off and angry anymore.

[I feel touched ;3 It's probably the longest lasting ropleplay I've ever been in...]

That made sense. Maybe Klim had just wanted to visit, to check up on her. He was okay just...just busy. Maybe he had a family and kits to return to wherever he had come from. The thought changed her mood from confused and sad to excited. Maybe he would invite her to come meet his family now. She was sure his mate was pretty and nice and his kits were very well behaved and probably enjoyed playing the same games she and him had when they had been kits. "Yeah." She meowed, lifting her head up, "Yeah, he probably had to go back with his family."

Fish Bones was still in deep, agonizing pain, but the exchange between Zeus and Squirrel had caught his attention. His pain, for this moment, was the last thing on his mind. What had happened to the vicous, rude, snappy Zeus. Hadn't that tom been threatening to kill him just a couple of minutes ago? With shock he noted that Squirrel was starting to calm down from him comforting her. How was this even possible? For a second, the old cat considered trying to attack now that it seemed the kit's guard was down but his injuries couple with the fact Zeus seemed to be keeping an eye on him kept him from dwelling on it for much. Besides, he didn't want to excite that she-cat...Squirrel. She was a dangerous cat to mess with, it seemed.

Zeus.
He nodded, adding in the occaisional 'yes, you're absolutely right' when he felt it was needed. "I'm sure when the time is right, he'll invite you over to meet them. Maybe he's just busy." He added, for the extra affect. Though as he consoled the adult she-cat, he wondered just how long hed be able to keep up the lie, before he'd have to tell her what had really happened to Klim. Or atleast what Zeus thought had happened to this Klim, whoever he was, seeing as he didn't know the full story. But Zeus was intelligent enough of a cat put the pieces together and figure out atleast, that Klim wouldn't be appearing any time soon. The rapid shift in his emotions was rather strange, nothing like the kit had experienced before. He glanced swiftly at Fish Bones and snorted. "You know what, fine, you old dump. Eat here and sleep here if you want. Whatever. It's not my problem. Just don't bother me." Could it be? Could it really be? Was he seriously going to not care what the cat he'd been trying to kill moments earlier was going to do. Well it seemed he was. STill not wanting to seem nice, he lashed his tail and spat on the ground, just to make it clear he was still annoyed. Or make it seem like that anyways. Then he turned his attention to Squirel...again. "Are you hurt? Do you have any scratches?" He asked her calmly, trying to get her mind of this Klim cat.

Squirrel nodded ecstatically. "Yeah! And then I can meet my nieces and nephews and see who Klim's mate is. I bet it's Sparkle." She said, a knowing glint in her bright eyes, "Klim always had a liking for Sparkle. She was always a pretty she-cat..." Squirrel trailed off, staring blankly at the wall for a moment before continuing, "And I'm sure that their kittens will be adorable too. I wonder how old they are now...maybe I'm a great-aunt. " Eyes flashing, she then turned to Zeus, "If he asks me to visit, I'll ask him if he wouldn't mind me bringing you. I bet he wouldn't. Klim was always a nice brother...maybe I could visit Tux too..." At this point, there was a glimmer of sadness in her eyes, "I miss Tux..."

Fish Bones stared at Zeus in shock. It was a trick, ti had to be. This cat wouldn't just suddenly decide to be nice. What cat even did that? He flicked his ears, thinking maybe he had hearn him wrong and sending drops of blood flying from the tears in the skin. Wait. He'd just been brutally attacked for nothing. A bit of indignation showed on the old cat's face. "I was just torn to pieces, pretty much, for...nothing?" He muttered, "Blinded in an eye for pretty much nothing?"
