"Well, if that's how you normally hunt, and you, 'aren't that great,' at it, I do not want to fight you."

"I was traceling with my pup, Kara, for months. We traveled a few weeks without stopping and i realized we were on the brink of death. So i hunted around one or two mice a day and gave them to Kara. I was too weak to hunt until recently, so I was just trying something new today..." Myra explained. "But thanks anyway." She smiled.

"That's very noble of you." Lupe stated sincerely and thoughtfully. "I was created in a lab, for a secret war weapon. To test seeing if I was good enough, I had to battle against other creations. I am good at fighting, but hate fighting without reason. I am glad I escaped that place and found this pack."

"I understand completely." Myra said, putting her nose in his shoulder fur for comfort. "You don't look like a war machine to me."

[Nerdy Dinosaur]

"Thank you, Myra. I haven't had any contact with another Winged Wolf for years. I really appreaciate you welcoming me, I feel like I've been here forever."

"You're welcome." Myra daringly licked his face then looked down. "Uh...Let's go hunt..something..."

"Yeah. Let's do that." Lupe said, disappointed they had to leave. "But, let's try hunting my way." Lupe crouched, feeling the tension of the muscles in his haunches, and leapt into the air. His powerful wings propelled through the air and pushed him away from the ground. "This is how I hunted the year I was looking for more of our kind. Coming?" Lupe called to Myra from the air. He was already at the level of the tree tops.

Myra watched him fly upward. "The past is the past." She told herself before following him. "Ready."

"Well. While traveling, I flew day and night. But when I saw something below me, I would dive to catch it. Like raptors hunt. I prefer this way." Lupe said, wanting to talk rather than hunt.
