The old dens were hollowed out but barren, and the stone pile the leaders spoke from would no longer make a good den for a leader. "Kind of eerie, isn't it?" she mewed quietly to Weaselstripe. She was glad to have him by her side, leaning into him.

She was looking forward to a friendly gathering after all the stress of the day. "Don't worry, Lostnight." She mewed, "We won't let anyone get lost!" As Splashpaw walked up beside her, she purred and looked over to her apprentice. "Hiya, Splashpaw!" She mewed. "This is probably your last gathering as an apprentice, that's exciting! Hanging out with the warriors now?" Elmshade glanced back towards the group of young apprentices, unsure. Splashpaw seemed a bit upset, so she hoped that she could help cheer her up.

Robinwind smiled at Creamflower, glad he had someone to help. His ears perked up at the sound of a cry, and the fur on the back of his spine stood up. Beestar! "That may be now!" He mewed. "Sunflare, Creamflower, could you go grab the herbs from my den? I set some aside!" Without another second, he was running from the nursery, towards Beestar's den. "Beestar!" He exclaimed, green eyes wide. "Here, lay down." He nosed her bedding towards her. He took in a breath to focus himself. He might be nervous in a lot of cases, but he always worked with steady paws.

Creamflower suddenly hears a cry and recognizes Beestar's voice, realizing that must mean her kits are coming right now. Upon hearing Robinwind asking her to grab his herbs from the medicine cat's den, she nods despite being unsure as what exactly to grab. "No need to tell me twice Robinwind." she replied. "You can count on it." She rushes out of the nursery and into the medicine cat's den, scanning for the herbs to see if she can remember which ones shes seen him use in the past. She immediately remembers borage leaves were used in case a she-cat had trouble producing milk and quickly grabs some of them, hoping she grabbed enough. "Sunflare," she said, suddenly remembering something Robinwind once said to her. "Do not grab any poppy seeds. Its not safe for a she-cat going into labor for it might kill the kits. They are small black seeds inside a dry poppy flower."
