"I'm.. sure," Thrushleap meowed. She didn't have to fake a smile since he could not see it.

Leopardstripe noticed how sad her voice sounded. "What's wrong?" He asked.

[Weredog]

"I'm sorry." Cloudgaze said in a soft purr, "It's hard to keep track of you sometimes. At camp I knew where everything was so I could find you when I needed you but here...Everything is so strange." She knew that Leopardstripe was likely somewhere nearby most of the time but whenever he left to even to simply things like get something to eat it was basically like he vanished into thin air to her. "Thrushleap can help." She quickly jumped to the she-cat's defense when Leopardstripe tried to dismiss her offer of assistance, "Queens usually help each other a lot since the fathers aren't usually in the nursery. She is my friend and I trust her with our kits just like I do with you."

Pikeflower gave a soft chuckle. "I don't think you're that old, Mistyclaw." He said in a playful manner, "But, you're right. Maybe kits would be a bit much. I'm perfectly fine with the ones we have anyways." The tom already had a fear of his mate dying while giving birth, as his last mate had, and since Mistyclaw was getting up there in age that only increased the risk which would increase his worry.

"I can do that, Thrushleap. I'll be in the nursery until the next litter are apprentices." Leopardstripe did NOT like the way Thrushleap was talking, but to cover his hostility, he purred.

Beaver turned around. "What?"

"I-I don't like being alone "she whimpered

"N-nothing!" Thrushleap meowed quickly, silently cursing herself for not concealing her emotions better. She had the urge to thank Cloudgaze with an affectionate gesture but of course, could not do that.

Leopardstripe frowned. "But I will be in the nursery most of the time." He replied. He didn't like the way the two she-cats talked about and to each other.

Mistyclaw nodded. "Me too." She said before yawning. "I think I'm going to take a nap. I love you." She licked his nose.

Beaver rolled his eyes. "Should have thought of that before you left your parents."

"The ThornClan camp, I believe." Tiger replied. "And some of the land around it."

The tom thought for a moment, then came up with a story. "When I was just a new apprentice, I tried to scare my mentor by rustling around in a bush. Well, turns out my tail was poking out. She pounced right on top of it, got a good scratch from it too. Didn't hurt much, it was all in good spirits." He told the story quickly, wanting to quiet down so he could listen, maybe try to find out more about what exactly he was smelling. "Yeah, I hear it." He whispered.

"Oh." Babble thought about that. "They better not come here," he muttered.

"Well, you don't have to be," Thrushleap put in. "L-like I said, I'd be glad to assist. Kits do get tiring," she meowed quietly.
