Now that the ceremony was through, she hopped down and padded over to Raccoonstrike. "Raccoonstrike, I'd like you, Pouncerpaw, Rabbitleap, Kestrelsong, and Junerain to go on sunset patrol." She ordered, and waited for his agreement.

Nightshade swooned over his kit and bent down, nuzzling him and then raising his head once again, tracking the movements of the awakening kits. [wb]

Kestrelsong continued padding with Rabbitleap until they reached the fresh-kill pile. Tonight, she would sit vigil. Common sense would tell her to go and take a nap since she'd be up all night, but she wasn't in the mood for it. She would stock up on food. She settled by the pile and plucked a plump kestrel out of it. "Nobody will get to hear this kestrel's song." She laughed out loud at her own play on words.

Fawnkit connected with her mother and began suckling warm milk. Soon her eyes shut and lay there, twitching every once in a while, filling her small belly full of liquids.

Ospreyfeather couldn't help but purr at Blank-kit and Ghostkit, who were curled up together. Blank-kit, who was usually so quiet and anti-social, had actually been happy to share her nest. The two kits were pressed against eachother in the rather squished nest, their fur merged into a shapeless white patch against the moss.

Rabbitleap chuckled, settling himself beside her after picking out a small vole for himself. "So," He mewed, glancing over at Kestrelsong, "What's your first order of business as a warrior? After virgil, of course...." He himself didn't like sitting outside all alone, even though Larksong and Ospreyfeather were with him, he wasn't allowed to talk, which made him feel.... Lonely.

Adderkit raised his head weakly and let out a small mew before scooting back to Ashcloud, curling up into a dark brown ball.

Ghostkit was in fact deep asleep by now. Even his purring stopped when he finally gave into exhaustion. Well actually he had never felt so tired, perhaps when he was first left alone before being brought up to camp, since the nursery was now filled with kits and his 'nest companion' Featherpaw was now an apprentice then his sleeping had been quire troublesome and almost non existent.

Nightsky padded over to Pouncerpaw, "hello there Pouncerpaw" he said walking by, "what's up?" he asked casually.

Kestrelsong pondered the thought as she leisurely devoured her prey. Chewing slowly, her gaze was fixed on something unclear. Then she flicked her ears and looked up at the standing Rabbitleap. "Watch the apprentices do my work." She poured, a tinge of humor swirling around in her smooth voice. She blinked her eyes as she looked into Rabbitleap's, then returned to eating.
