Sable snorted softly walking back into the den, looking for her adoptive brother and sister. The young fae sat down, still angry about having to leave her mother so she could keep triant's new pups. She stood back up and went back outside the den and began pacing outside the entrance, head low, tail flat and ears down "I hate them." she mumbled through her teeth as she continued to pace the outside of the den. The young fae went to the kill pile and selected herself a hare. She began to take it back towards den where Salem and her adoptive sister were. She was going to take care of them, because they were kind enough to take care of her.

Kierra limped out of her den and laid down. The fae flicked her tail and sighed slowly, pain serving through her body with every breath she took. She whined softly and rolled onto her side, trying to get relief, but no. It just made the pain worse. She stayed still and sighed, pain seeking to numb. The delta blinked watching as the patrols came back. She made effort to move, called Luca over "luca. Come here please." she said.

Sara pulled Piper, Luna, Key and Salem to her and licked their heads. "Peace pups, your mother isn't gone she is still with you in your thoughts and dreams and always will be. You have your uncle Jamel. You have Karin. I will be keeping my eyes on you. You have each other. You are anything but alome.", she said trying to sooth the pups. When she heard Piper's snarl the Herbalist turned a firm gaze on Piper, "Piper!", she hissed with icy blue eyes flashing, "Don't let me hear you talk of taking your anger out on those pups again! If you want to do something about your mother's death then focus on becoming as powerfull as you can be. Then, if you must take your revenge, do so on those that really caused your mother's death. Caroline and Triant. NOT those mountain pups who had no say in the matter!"

Luca stoped on his way to his den when he heared the familier voice of the Delta Female. The brown male shook out his fur before changing his course. Instead of heading to his den, the brute headed over to the place Kierra was sitting outside her den. He stoped and sat looking at her curiously, "What is it Kierra? Do you need something?", he asked her.

Kierra shook her head "no. I asked you over here to see if you found anything on your patrols. I know I'm incapable of fighting, bu it is still my duty to keep the welfare of the pack as my business." she said. She lifted her head and looked up at the brute.

Sable sat down in the corner of the den, just wanting to be alone. She stayed there and quietly sniffled to herself. She layer there in a small, heap of fur, grief stricken and even lonlier than before she had ever come in contact with these wolves.

The darl brown brute shook his head, "I'm sorry Kierra but....strangly enough....we didn't find anything out of the ordinary. The terratory still stinks like Red Howler though. Still we may have smelled them but there weren't any traces of them on our terratory still. Instead we remarked the boarders extra well along the boarders with Red Howlers as a warning. Hopefully they will leave High Rains alone. At least untill we return from our prey search."

Karin:

The female soon saw Jamel in the corner of her only eye and started to walk towards him. "Good day to you Jamel...." she began, not knowing how she should phrase it. She hated it to say that Zeth had gone off to die. She wasn't even blood related to her, still they took care of her like one of them. "...i....well....Zeth, she....." she said, staring at the ground before lifting her face and looking at Jamel with a saddned face that could tell what happened. Her ears were flat and her tail hanging low. She continued to look at him, expecting something to happen. Like beginning to shout and run into the forest.

Key and Luna:

Key cuddled closer to Salem and cried together with him. They were still young and had gone already through so much. They didn't even knew their father, they grew up in a totally different pack, they were seperated from their mother because of some other pups and lastly they mother died, leaving them alone in this cold pack. Luna's ears peerked up as she heared that Piper got into a rage and wanted to kill everyone of them. Sure, she would have liked to take her revenge too but what could she possibly do? Her mother surely didn't want her to become a killer just so that her death wasn't futile. No, she wanted to believe that she should become strong and be a full member of the pack. She should be respected and should be able to give her own pups one day a good home to return to. However, she was sure that that darkness that was forming, would always remain, someday taking over. Still, she wanted to try her best until then. If she should die throug her actions, than she knew that it was the wrong way to take.

Kite:

Kite couldn't stand the squeak's of his litter mates, so he stood up and wobbled outside the den. He didn't see Karin so it was almost safe to travel outside. That female would have dragged him back into that boring cave, together with the annoying other pups. He wanted to explore a bit and did so. He began to walk around camp, getting a few looks from the other wolves but nobody said something.

Jamel sat frozen in place as Karin tried to explain. He stood and dropped his head, tail low as well. It wasn't a challenge, just more out of grief. He let out a slow breath. He nodded, trying to control himself but the rage he felt made his muscles tense and untense. He would kill Nilah and the Red Howler Alphas for this... He looked away, pain in his eyes. He nodded. "Okay... I'll take care of the pups..." He walked over to them and nuzzled them gently.

Piper glared at Sara and hissed, "Shut up! You didn't have to watch your mother be drained! You didn't watch her have to save someone elses pups before her own! Salem was almost killed because she had to fend after those runts!" She snarled, looking at Kite with a hateful glare before swatting at Jamel to get away from her and running off to the woods. She ran till her legs ached and she laid by a river, burying her face in the snow and giving off soft sobs... Her mother was gone... It wasn't like she had been able to be there before but now she was truly gone...

Salem cuddled into Key and Luna, taking in a breath to calm his tears... He decided one of the siblings needed to step up since their mother was gone.. Why not him? "Sara... Let her go... She needs time to calm and being in a crowded camp won't help anyone... Luna, Key, go with Jamel... I'll go and see if any one will train us..." He muttered, his head hung heavy with grief but he couldn't show it now... He needed to suck it up until he had time to release... He looked at Sable and said, "Sable... Mother is dead... We will have two other feas watching over us and I'm sure Coraline will make sure Triant keeps his distance... Would you like to come with me to find us teachers?"

Sable nodded and stood up, sniffling once last time. She looked at Salem "I hate Triant. I absolutely hate him." she muttered and walked out the den. She flicked her tail to put emphasis on her disgust. She waited quietly outside the den, with a nasty glare on her face, but kept quiet.

Amira sighed and walked through the forest, looking for prey for her quickly growing pups. One was a female one was a male. She snorted, not finding anything and sighed. She turned back and went back Ito the warmth of her den. She curled up around her pups and relaxed, keeping her guard up though. She had just recently moved to a new den, because the other one was becoming too small for her growing family. She flicked her ears around, listening to the happenings outside, but it wasn't anything unusual... Just the wind rustling through the trees.

Sara looked at Salem and sighed, "Very well Salem.....you're right. I need a few certain herbs so I'll be going to teh High Rains boarder for awhile. I believe Jamel and Karin will be here if you need anything though." With that the snowy fluffy white female left the pups in her den and padded out of the camp. She headed towards the High Rains boarder with Red Howlers and started to search for the herbs she was out of.

Kierra nodded "good. Those varmints need to leave us alone." she said. "and yes, I hope they leave us alone while you are away on the prey search. We have enough wolves that are injured, we wouldn't stand a chance." She laid her head down and sighed, "all we can do is hope for the best." she said, getting a little worried all of a sudden. She looked back up at luca and licked his cheek "thank you for all your help around the pack. We've surely needed it." and with that, the grey female stood up slowly, and whined as her bones cracked as she stood. A sign that they were healing, but it was painful. She slipped back inside her den and curled back up, warming her body in the warmth of her den.

Luca watched the Delta go and smiled diping her head after her. With that the dark brown male haded back to his den to rest for the next morning where he would lead a team of wolves out searching for prey. He curled up in his den and quickly fell asleep.
